Are you sure it's an actual map problem? Sometimes when you test a map from hammer, it makes things screwy the first round... try loading from the game, or from cz.
what if it selects an empty one?

Yeah, it's not hard, it's just that i overwrote the save game... so i never finished it, and i didnt want to start a whole damn new game...
rimrook is right... i never finished it w/o cheats cuz my saved game right after Gonarchs lair got overwrote
(Although with half-life source i can probably cheat to the last level, then start my game right after gonarchs lair from the menu and then start it up in normal goldsrc half-life)

I use HDR on my Lost Coast and Episode One games. They work fine, I have the same amount of RAM and an ATI x700 (256MB). Have you tried HDR on another game that supports it?

Yeah, when I heard about it, L4D came immediately to mind. It's ok, I haven't managed to get into a server yet though, so I'm not sure of some of the zombies' actual power/speed/durability yet.
I hope heroes work kind like the do in WC3. Levels, upgradeable spells, ect.

What do you mean?I mean, in Warcraft III, using the World Editor, and with a unique combination of GUI and JASS triggering, you can turn a WC3 map into an FPS map.
In fact, I believe there is a MOD for WC3 that makes it easier to do such a thing.

Umm... cs and cz aren't all that different... I've seen hacks, admin mods, and the likes the work for both.

i spose using the .dlls from both of them and also retrieving the appropriate weapon models, sounds, sprites, ect. might work. but don't quote me on that.

Second: The map looked pretty good, neat, and I wish I could get a hold of it so I could try it out. Anyone who doesn't see this kids artistic ability is a damn crack-head and needs mental tutoring. Just the fact he was able to open and configure the editor is good enough.

No need for me to repeat Tetsu0's rant. I completely agree with him. That is the stupidest thing I've ever heard of. How would that even be CLOSE to a criminal offense? He map a map of his school. If it was any good, we'd call it "skill" or "art", and if not so good, we'd say "good try" or "needs work" ect. But the world outside our computer-life is taking this and calling it "illegal" and "dangerous".
To make matters worse in this article, it says the word Terrorist. Think, this is the U.S. over-reacting. Sure we got owned by 9/11 terrorists, but you can't try to arrest a kid and expel him from school because he wanted to play his school in an online game.
