S? = to know. It's the irregular first person present form of "saber", to know (factual only).

Plus, obviously, I changed it. Who else would change "Seventh-Monkey is intelligent (I think)" to "Seventh-Monkey is intelligent (I know)"?

in what is r_speeds? Post #25945
r_speeds is just the command. The r_ prefix denotes "render". Wpoly is usually termed "r_speeds" and should be kept under 800 where possible, the maximum without hardware acceleration.

Since only the Quake-tools (yes, QUAKE) will give LEAK LEAK LEAK, you should get Zoner's Tools and try again.

You're probably not running all the compile programs. Check all their paths and all your setup options.

1. No, but the map doesn't need it anyway. LIGHTS.RAD only tells the compiling tools where the lights are, the 'tools then actually put the lights in place.

2. No, you need to include this

3. Any errors during compiling?

Right, little tutorial:

1. Make a brush, textured with glass.
2. Texture the see-through side with {BLUE

3. Tie it to, say, a func_wall, rendermode solid, render amt. 255.
4. Now make a normal translucent pane of glass and put it on the see-through side.

5. Admire.

This is very true. Valve is a company, not a personal friend as some people seem to think. While it is to their advantage to be popular with the already-existing HL community, it's not their job.

Yes.
Is there a way to add information to a lights.rad file without making duplicate entries (or 2 colors for the same thing?)
Uh, just use a texture name that's not already included? I often make GLASS_BRIGHT light-emitting and then only use it for external windows (simulating daylight on maps with no outside).
