Spiders have never scared me. Once this huge house spider (which had a 10cm diameter with legs out) crawled across my living room, and I picked it up, and put it in the loft (there's loadsa spiders there for it to befriend). I don't mind seeing real gore, but particular types (like intestines spilling) makes me freak. I can watch it, but after a few minutes I start to feel like my abdomen is exploding, or something. And it makes me feel sick, but, yeah, I generally don't get ill from looking at gore. Although, one thing I get scared of is powerful wind. A tree almost fell on me once in a gale-force winds. Scary stuff.

Me and 7th were talking about image editing by hand ;) Not programming. It's funny when people say "omfgomfg i maed my site wiv notpad omfg i r soooo 1337  ". Don't design a site as an image, cause it will never turn out as expected when you develop the stylesheet (unless you go the assholes route and image map everything!).

Oh just remembered, the animated PNG extension is MNG. Atom can just filter for MNG like he can with other extensions.

There is an animated PNG format, and most decent browsers support it too, can't remember the name of it though.

Meh, you should get a boxed copy. Then you can install it on machines with dialup/slow DSL with minimum waiting time, although it can take ages to validate, so if you have fast net, it's quicker to download.

Steve Vai - Fuck Yourself

#Fuck yourself with a rubber hose,
stuff it in your mouth, and down your trough.
Up your nose or in your heiny hole,
I don't care, where it goes.

Now it don't matter if your straight or gay,
you should fuck yourself, anyway.
Now, you don't have to listen to a word I say,
but if I know you, you'll be humpin' away.

Fuck yourself with your neighbors nose,
if you can't use that, use a ten foot pole.
Stick it up your ass and go for a stroll,
everyone will know, you've been to the show.

If you can't take it, eat my stool,
masturbate with some crazy glue...

etc etc#

The IE style is very very clean, and minimal, it's just that the browser sucks. Firefox takes IE's already simple interface and adds an amazing browser underneath the interface. It doesn't need tons of features to be great, although if you want you can turn it into bloatware by adding 1000s of extensions, which there are plenty of.

Compiling it for Linux now :) I always liked GIMP the way it is, but I prefer photoshop's interface, and easiness. Ok, it won't compile, due to the fact the configuration script doesn't like my version of libtiff. Same with the binary package. Oh well, it was worth a try.

Who needs Opera? Firefox can CSS override too ;) By the way, Fx releases are for pussies, I run beta releases and unnofficial/self-compiled builds all the time. My current scragz render test wr time is 1.3secs using a custom fx build with every extension disabled and the O3 (Optimiser level 3) flag (with plenty of config tweaks of course). Opera at stock does 1.92 for me. Stock Firefox 1.0.2 does 1.83, and 1.0.3 gets 1.94. Oh, also, with the cache cleared, all of the aforementioned browsers perform approximately 0.3 secs better, although I haven't tested the speed difference of disk cache to RAM cache, the latter most ilkely being faster.

Hmm, after viewing the Scragz table test on both my optimized Firefox beta (with all tweaks) and a stock Opera. Opera got 1.5 roughly, and 1.7 for Firefox... although, after a reload, Firefox got 1.3 and Opera 1.6. I kinda like the way Opera shows more verbose information, but it's way too bulky, has a bad rendering engine, has ads, and is commercial. Firefox wins overall imo.
