You're a retarded cunt. How's that for a real argument, you fuckfaced dickwad?

Please let us know when you are able to have any sort of real discussion instead of acting like a retarded butt-monkey in every singly thread. Until then, just stay the fuck off the more or less serious threads.

-Why are there no women in Ultimate fighting or boxing?
-Why would the best women's footbal team get crushed by the worst men's team?
Because of social norms and stereotypes. That's it.

And no, you don't win. In fact, you've never won, ever. And even if you ever did win, it'd probably be because your opponent made a pity-walkover. And even if not, you're still retarded.

Says who? The statistics? If we're going to go by that rule, why don't we kick men out of, I don't know, sewing or raising kids? Statistically, women are better. Who gives a crap? It's individual.

Uh, a "powerful figure" hardly determines how suited you are for war :P . I'd say it's pretty individual how well-suited you are for the battlefield... has little to do with gender. A larger figure and stronger physical strength are pretty much useless unless you live in ancient Greece or something.

Obviously women's right groups don't care because they don't want to go to the army. Why should they, anyway? They protest against the things that are in their interest in one way or another.

For example, would you see some anti-racist black protester demonstrate against the discrimination of white people? Stop being silly.

Sweden has no mandatory draft. You pretty much only have to do military training if you want to, and even then you might not get accepted. Then again, we virtually have no army.

It makes sense. Since everything happens in only one way, there are no choices, since no matter what you do, it will only go one way.

Fate exists because free will doesn't. Ooo, I'm deep. But really, that's how it is. I mean, your opinions and choices are all influenced by other things, so what makes it "free will"?

I like Keith Olbermann. He's so... gloomy and articulate.

Xyos: Mistakes can be made (although we should do everything in our power to prevent them, seeing as how those mistakes probably cause more crime than they intended to stop), but intended malpractice in their job can simply not be tolerated. Especially not in the field of excess of force.

Why doesn't anyone take notice of anything that happens in the 3rd world? It's simple. We, humans, relate more to cultures that are more similar to our own. That's my explanation for our sickly obsession with what goes on in the US. We just don't care what happens in parts of the world that aren't like ours. Don't ask me why, that's just how it is.

Yes - the student should've gone when they asked him. But what the officers did was a classic example of overuse of force. Tazering someone five times is just idiotic. They could've just as easily dragged him off - he was one person for christs sake. And yes, it is tortorous to physically harm a defenseless person who's lying down.

It's not in the nature of their(note: their, not there) profession to abuse civil rights and it's certainly not in the nature of their profession to torture unarmed, lying down persons.
Yes, people are imperfect, and so are cops - but we must still make sure that they follow the rules and laws that they're(note, again) there to protect, or get fired. Seriously. Law enforcement is one of those professions in which all rules must be upheld for democracy to even work.
Well actually, you are.
I'm not.

We're not complaining about the concept of law enforcement, Xyos - no one would. What saribous means is that there're far too many incompetent dickwads that become cops who do whatever they want without facing any consequences for it. Think, man.

One time, perhaps. But 5 times? That's torture, by all means.
And rowleybob, believe it or not, but citizens, including criminals, all have rights that need to be respected by everyone, most of all law enforcement. Cops should never be allowed to stand above the law themselves.

in UCLA Student Tazered By Police Post #203635
Why didn't they just drag him out of there? Come on - just because someone's screaming doesn't mean they're impossible to move. Tasering someone who's lying down is torture.
1 a : anguish of body or mind : AGONY b : something that causes agony or pain
2 : the infliction of intense pain (as from burning, crushing, or wounding) to punish, coerce, or afford sadistic pleasure
3 : distortion or overrefinement of a meaning or an argument : STRAINING
I'd say that pretty much falls into each of the 3 definitions. I damn well hope they got fired and more for that.

I doubt someone'd willingly take 5 tazer hits to "prove a point", rowleybob. I mean, those things hurt.

If five cops can't overpower an unarmed student without tazing him five times they should go back to the academy. This is an obvious case of excess force and malpractice. Sure, they may have been stressed and cautious, but it's not like he was waving a gun.

That would be the old testament, or the Torah.
stop being so stubborn ZL and give me a quote where it says everyones going to hell.
Oh come on, one of the basic Christian principles is that only people who embrace Jesus as their personal saviour will see the kingdom of heaven. Can't be arsed to find a bible quote, but ask any christian.

if you truly repent and are sorry for your sins you stand good chances of entering the KoG fourthgen.
That's what bloody annoys me about heaven and hell and all that crap - no one would deliberately choose hell over heaven and yet most Christians claim that everyone has a "choice" to follow the "right path" or not - it's god damned stupid. People who don't believe in God don't not believe in it because they're evil or wicked, they do it because they think it just isn't true - does that mean they should go to hell?

I hope you see my point here - no one would deliberately choose the wrong thing if they knew what was right or true. Everyone does what they think is right - that includes suicide bombers and devil worshippers. Christians act as if everyone had the choice between believing in God (which, obviously, they think is right) and not believing - that's just not how it works. Either you believe or you don't - there's no choice involved (this sort of touches the fact that free will is non-existent, but leave that to another debate) and that pretty much invalidates the whole concept of heaven and hell. Stupid.

Rather rant-y response, but hey, I'm hungry.
