As a parant you can explain - for example - that GTA is just a game and you should not act like you do ingame in the reality.

After several days of that and finding others with similiar problems, I figured the update had errors. So I tried getting models into the modelviewer. But the modelviewer only reads the GFC files. So, I got GFCscape, but it doesn't import, so I got Blender, but that needs an add-on, and it's link was invalid. I also tried XSI, but I think I have to go to school to learn how to use it. I'm using models like the Fisherman in Lost Coast and Odell in the Beta version. I still have to figure out how to get them in my mod, but first thing first.You need a decompiler, such as "Cannonfodders" google it (might be wrong spellt)
After several days of that I tried Face Poser. I installed MS Speech SDK5.1, but whenever I try to re-extract or redo extraction, it crashes. I can reload it and open up the myfile_work.wav, but the option to Commit isn't there, so I can't make the model lip sync. I wondered in my wavs weren't formatted properly, so I tried HL2 wavs and they do work, but it still crashes when I re-extract.After update bug, I also get it, it didn't occour before.
So, is it possible for me personally to create a mod, or should I just throw away my computer and become a worm farmer or something?You shouldn't give up the idea, sure, you could keep trying (or search for a solution)
But if I were you, I would have waited for the next update where all of these bugs probably will be fixed, even though being a worm farmer seems tempting.

You can't just type ai_disable 0 each time you load a map.

It often occours when you have an illeagal copy of HL2 (but you don't, because if you had you wouldn't be able to map)

2. The apc will only fire missiles if the target is far away ( you can setup range ) If the target is inside that range the apc will fire the machinegun.
If that doesn't help then ask me and I'll make you an examplemap.

If you want the apc to drive you should setup "ground hints/nodes" where you have your path_corners.
If you do so he will drive much more carefully, if you don't, he'll drive like a lunatic. At least he did for me

Remember to backup the files you want.
Use Active@ Killdisk to completely wipe the hard-drive (removing all partitions).
Format C:. Re-install windows and all your applications.

The only thing that differs is that if the grunt is dead it won't work, but you can remove that.

Nah, I downloaded it from fileshack.
The thing is, I have a server, the server is connected to two computers in the house etc..
The update is on the server.
On computer 2, BF2 works fine, so does the update.
I haven't encountered a single error!
Oh, and here comes the good part - that computer isn't mine.
So there isn't anything wrong with the update file,, I think.

On a side note, Ive have always heard BF2 was full of bugs, so dont feel like your the only oneWell, BF2 has been bullshitting me here on COMPUTER 1 since christmas!

I don't know if I'm lucky or somethin' but the only error I got was the gameinfo.txtThat's the error which stops me from getting in.

So it seems as the problem isn't that they are unhealthy.

When I try to install something from a CD or a DVD there is always atleast ONE file that it can't copy (I get an error saying that it failed to copy)
However, if I restart and try again it works some times.
I recently formated my hard drive, and before that I had none of these two problems (DVD and CD)
Sure, my CD-drive is borked, but there is nothing wrong with my DVD drive.
So, everytime I instal something from either CD drive or DVD drive there is always one file which fails to copy.
Any one familliar with this problem, and perhaps knows how to fix it?
