Collapse, you obviously think what this Phillip fellow did was a major dick move. Under other circumstances, you'd be right. But he's obviously hitting some strong turbulance in his real world life. We don't need to know what it is, but it was enough to make him snap and close the site. Which he has remedied. I imagine you're the kind of person who says "Get a grip" to people suffering serious depression.
Whether or not anyone thinks it is right, he owns the site (and pays for it) and he can do whatever he pleases with it. He has run the site for, how long now? (I wouldn't know, I've never been there.) I imagine if he was ever going to give up control of the site, it'd be right at the end of his reign when he knows he can't do it anymore.
Not saying it wouldn't be a bad idea to get some helpers, but we've been through this.
I've seen some of Pengy's earlier activity. You wouldn't guess from it that he'd become one of the main players of the site. Then again, when you look back, it seems everyone was an idiot when they first joined. Because this community is quite small, you can really see how everyone's maturity has evolved.
As of yet, I've never played TF2 outside of the training stuff.

Got it working. I guess that "steam profile must be set to public" rule is a big one (which makes sense).

Half-Life 2: Episode One - Have never played it on this account. I always played it on either my brother's or, one time, my girlfriend's. (Yeah, I kinda got her hooked on Valve games :P)
Half-Life 2: Lost Coast - Played it before on my brother's account, it hasn't got a whole lot of replayability.
Half-Life Deathmatch: Source - Regular Half-Life beats this, IMO.
Titan Quest - Have Titan Quest: Immortal Throne. This will never be played.

I'm not sure you can set up a texture that changes at will (correct me if I'm wrong), but I'm pretty sure some fairly simple entity setups using func_wall_toggles could fake the same effect.
Anyway, yeah, you should really do a little research before you try doing this stuff, Dim. You'll probably also have to screw around with ports and such too.

Really? I thought the death animations were rather good. Lots of movement where there should be movement. Not all deaths are quite so slow though, I must say.
Well, I dunno, it looks like he loses his inertia a little too quickly. After he lands he just shifts straight into his normal standing position. It seems like there hould just be the slightest bit more swinging of his body, or he should sort of recover from the landing a little slower. It's not a small jump he does.

I did something similar a while back, before I got L4D2, was NOT expecting over 200 hours on L4D. Now I'm not sure anything will suprise me.
I'll note that maybe 10 hours on Puzzle Quest are mine. The rest are Mum's. Though I must have left PvZ open or something... Surely there isn't enough to do to spend 180 hours on it. 
I only stopped joining in the HLDM games on potatis' server when the games started being held at, what was for me, 5am. (or some other undoably early time)
