Yyyyeah... I don't have a single map I haven't finished...

That's a lie. I have about 30 of them.

Ditto.

Another one is the (see more) link next to the username in the map vault. It takes you back to the listings for the various map vaults. I think it should link to the author's maps page, or at least the first time I clicked it I was going to be sent there.

Also don't forget the [More Screenshots] link under a thumbnail on the map page. There is no option to upload more screenshots, it says you can upload more later while submitting it, but you really can't.

All this seems rather moot since there are plans for TWHL being mass updated (TWHL4?) eventually.

Or instead of having 8 different illusionaries with different ammounts, make a set of textures each lighter or darker than the others, then make the planes all one entity.

If the render mode is additive it should work fine.

Instead of a solid color for that volumetric fog from the lava in that last screenshot, make a texture thats the same solid color but fades as it gets closer to the edge. It'll take that facetted step-like off.

Kinda like what I did here.

Yeah, its in Tampa, I'm sure it isn't too far.

He was one a airliner the day yesterday that blew a tire out, he was reported to have been hit on the head but was said to be ok. No one knows for sure if that is the cause yet, and it seems unlikely.

Such a shame, interested in finding out what did it. I may pay a visit with my roommate and drop flowers off at his house.

If you have the scores, school pays for itself with scholarships.
I don't know what to say about this, those in the poor or lower class have a ton of motivation and drive to succeed. Those in the upper class have the money to get as much schooling as they need, and their successful background teaches them only success.

The middle class is in a limbo of crap because financial aid favors the lower class because it takes them longer to pay it off and the agencies make a ton of money from the interest. Middle class doesn't qualify for much because they make just enough money past the threshhold.

Take it from me, I have had little to nothing growing up. I take my craft very seriously.

Except for Cardboared maps.

Don't ever use that song again, Striker. EVER. Every fucking time I hear "let the bodies hit the floor", I close the video.
That's got to be one of the most overused songs and I'm fucking sick of hearing it.
Same. Only I just hit mute.

That song needs a humorous remake.
Let the monkeys hit the door
Let the score board show the score
Let the rich man pay the whore
Let the sea shells by the shore
Let the mappers map some more
Let the Freeman crowbar gore
Let the early walmart store

Terra De Conchas is too big. Having just one of the two parts is acceptible.

Although if no one else cares I can't really complain. Maybe we can cut provinces or something. Might be wise to further the level of control and management. Don't want any anarchy now do we?

See that thar! Thats a whole world we found while surfing the rifts of space AND IT IS OURS FOR THE TAKING! I've already claimed my share as an example and defined the capital. The rules are simple. Pull this into MS Paint and stake a part of it with a color, name, and capital name and location. Do that and it is yours. You can provide any additional information about the location as you explored it, like lakes, rivers, mountains, deserts, landmarks, resources, and so on. Just don't clusterfuck it up.

Obvious infractions of the rules can be easily corrected, since we each take the previous image posted and MS Paint our claim into. A player CANNOT edit another player's claim. Once it is posted, it is final. Also, claiming areas can go no larger than roughly the example area, which is mine.

Once you have your claim and would like to update it, go ahead and do so and repost it.

The goal is to get the entire world explored, filled in, and tagged with locations.

Have at it guys!

Gameplay considerations is a big valid reason to modify a part of the layout. For deathmatch-like entries, not so much.

Here's is Penguin's sentence alphabetical.

Its fine I think. I turned that part into a cliff-like part too.
The extra organic part on the left should be fine too. Hell the whole map could be rocky organic type and it wouldn't matter as long as the accessible area was in the shape of the layout.

Although I did take the layout in literal sense, as in the negative space is mostly wall and such.

I have to admit I'd feel like a douche infront of that motion thing... and we all know Santa Clause gives no presents to douches.

For production studios the tech is fine, but at home gaming. Maybe not so much... But I wouldn't doubt when virtual reality is injected into my mind and I must roleplay as a character, I would still feel like a douche then too.
