We're currently using the HL standard skyboxes. We've had a few people suggest new HD ones but they're not easy to make and would require coding for higher resolutions (as far as I know)

Audio needs to be .wav format, 22khz and 8bit should work. Also, make sure it's mono and is a reasonable volume.
I've been working with Goldsource for so long yet even I am not 100% on decals. I can only get them to work in decals.wad and editing that is a potential minefield.
I can honestly say for a while enemies in The Core were bleeding 96x96 white squares until I realised I'd missed one of the bullet holes when adding my new replacements. Seems that there is some element of the code connected to that wad.

I have a "Request Desktop Version" in my version of the default Android browser. Possibly because I run CyanogenMod, I guess.Thought that was a standard feature. I have that on my vanilla android browser on my HTC Desire.
I use Firefox. It's the standard at work since FireBug is just awesome for web design. It's what I'm used to and I see no need to change. Opera has always been a close second but from time to time it just craps out with Flash stuff, making YouTube unusable.
On my mobile I use the built in android browser. Used Firefox for a while but my model is no longer supported.

I've had to do that in The Core in some places but it causes a mysterious bug. It's like the entity is there, but not physically. It can attack you and emits sounds but it is totally invisible and not solid so you can walk through it but can't attack it. Truly bizarre.
That's pretty sweet doodle. Is that for anything in particular or are you just engaging your mapping brain?
