in Custom "movie" textures Post #185720
Put the animated textures on a func_wall_toggle and trigger it, for a triggerable screen.

Alternatively, use a env_render to switch between Texture and Normal render modes (with render amount 0).

thats a terrible cynical attitude to have ZL, without exploration we would know so very little of the world, the solar system and the greater galaxy and universe we live in. Space exploration has so immensly furthered our understanding of all sciences, to completely dismiss it because of the problems of society is nihilistic and ignorant.
I'm just saying we shouldn't spend as much on space exploration as we do now - I mean, how many shuttles have they sent to mars now? To gather one byte of data from the surface of the planet? It seems quite pointless.

Alexb911, I'm quite sure columbus didn't discover oil, seeing as how it was used err, everywhere, before his time.

Space exploration = waste of money. Please fix the problems on earth with the money spent on sending useless pieces of metal into space.

Here's how you make comedy.

Regular things happen.
Something very unexpected happens all of a sudden.
A reaction to that.

Add blood, gore and manly physics and you've got a winning comics.

I just have to bump this...

Poorly translated by yours truly:
[quote]
According to [Swedish news TV program] Rapport, the MPAA has controlled [Swedish minister of justice] Thomas Bodstr?m... But now it's our turn to control him. Today the Piracy Bureau paid 10101 SEK for a lock of the minister of justice's hair, which was auctioned out on [Swedish radio channel] P3's Lantz... Step one in our plan to take control over Bodstr?m by the Creol voodoo-tradition and it's dolls.
  • Bodstr?m is now owned by The Piracy Bureau, or atleast his hair and it's there that the power lies, says the Piracy Bureau's supreme-priest Julien Nebbout.
We promise to make sure that Bodstr?m no longer will be able to practise his black magic anymore, like making laws no one wants, getting raids against the internet and with pure power of thought being able to bend the freedom of speech and freedom of press. Most of all, he can no longer make threats with the biggest magic trick he claims to master: Controlling the transfer of ones and zeroes on the internet.

Keep an eye out for The Piracy Bureaus Voodstr?m-site, where you, amongst other things, will be able to play MPAA for a day and control the minister of justice through the web, or why not buy a voodoo-shirt with a sewn-in Bodstr?m-hair (limited edition).

If the voodoo doesn't work, the 10101 [Swedish] crowns weren't wasted, they're going to Radiohj?lpen's charity for the world's children. Also, Thomas [Bodstr?m] has promised to discuss the copyright-question over donner with the Piracy Bureau's Palle Torsson.

//PiratByr?n
[/quote]

I just had to post this. I love those guys.

It just seemed like they are trying to FORCE everyone to be in an all-inclusive system. It may just seem like I'm being paranoid, but with all the NSA crap and the "patriot act," all they have to do is say "we think he's a terrorist," and you're effed! And there's no telling WHO can buy the Identix company along with it's databases in the future....
Finally Nickelplate seems likeable.

And yes, I'm quite sure the US work-environment is quite a lot worse for the common employee than over here. No employment security, for instance. Here, you virtually can't be fired without a very valid reason, like showing up drunk for work like ten times in a row. Then again, our economy's going to hell with foreign out-sourcing and whatnot, but that's life.

Dude, what are you on about? My basic point was: If you're a gamer, you should never settle for a max-1024 resolution screen. Yes, there are more important things in life, but no one ever said "SPEND ALL UR MNEY ON COMPUTERZ~" . The standard computer screen today is a lot bigger than 1024x768-maxed, and we simply encouraged you to get with the times.

Computering is a hobby that I believe we all share, and your post makes fairly little sense looking at the posts before it.

I usually run at 1360x1024 (which seems to be some queer ATi-only resolution), otherwise 1280x960.

1280x1024 isn't 4:3, mind you. 1280x960 is.

Please update your system if you can't handle resolutions above 1024x768. And yes, the "joke" is old, I just felt that jimmi needed to be reminded of how he's seen here.

I chose not to link to the image since it would've removed the size of the post. It's more epic to open a 3800 pixel tall post than click a link.

I've mentioned pretty all my personal information in IRC. Adress, full name, IP (evidently), date of birth and even phone number on occasion.

I don't like the idea of tracking people over the internet, but then again I can't see how it should be prevented. People should count on stuff they put on the net to be seen by everyone.

Too big images. Look at how comics are made - they're small boxes centered around the important stuff in the scenes, not entire scenes.

And please, use proper spelling and grammar. It's not like you're in a rush while editing pictures.
