I watched the full thing, it truly looks superb. I'm definately getting it when it's out (haven't decided whether to pay for it though), but I fear it'll get boring quickly.

I played it once, then got bored of it. RDKF kept me entertained for a couple of hours, though.

To make things clear, those games aren't in my steam list, I added them meself. I do have them installed though.

Do you have Half-life on steam? If so, the setup'd be virtually the same...

If you however don't have Half-Life, then yes, you need to buy it. Wasn't that pretty obvious?

You need coding, for pretty much all of these questions except 2, where just need to change some animations of the model.

You'd need a fair bit of knowledge about the Half-life SDK, it's code and a good deal of C++.

1. Download and install the patched UXTheme.dll
2. Place windows skins in WINDOWSResourcesThemes (typically C:windowsresourcesthemes).
3. Activate the theme from the desktop properties.

Graveyard Designs opened today. It's a project of mine where I offer to make pretty much anyone's site. Read more in the about or services page.
Thought I'd pimp it here.

What I'd like from you guys is input and comments on the design, content and layout of the entire page - I tried to go for a corporate, professional look. The images are all taken with my own Digi-cam, so I pray there'll be no copyright mumbo jumbo there.

So, let me know what you think.

Cpt. P: that'd make the whole box non-shoot-through though.

Also, for the image, should say render mode: texture.

in SP vs MP Post #165148
MP maps need to have a good flow, good weapon placement and assymetric architecture, it's not as thoughtless as it sounds.
If you're mapping for a teambased game, i.e. CS, team balancing is extremely important.

The func wall can't be shot through, the CLIP brush can. Go figure.

Make a func_wall within the model, set rendermode to texture, amount to 0, it'll make it invisible, but non-seethrough and non-shoot-through. Think, man, think.

A clip brush is a brush entirely covered with the texture clip - it's invisible, but the player can't walk through it.
This will give the illusion that the model is solid.
