Found a website where you can get old, abandoned games for free. Stuff like Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake which was for "SNES" that was released years ago can be found there (you can also find Metal Gear Solid 1 for pc there too). The Website.

About that purple tint thing. My brother had that recently when he put his resolution and detail up but I don't think that would be the case.... It may be your graphics card or it could be what Kasperg just said.

@Johnnsen: With that wall from that pic, you could move/resize it like everyone else said. Or you could try to vm it but I think that'll make it angular.

Cylinders have the tendency to place a vertex off of the grid, being off of the 1 by 1 grid.
Um just vm each side until its on the grid, simple...

It's a new SP mod I'm starting which is obviously named after the member Trapt.

Story
It starts off with you waking up in your bed and finding that there is a door next to the window. You get out of bed and open the door. You see a portal there and just as you are going to close the door, you suddenly get pulled in! As you fall through the portal, your mind starts going "haywire" for some reason and you faint. Eventually when you wake up, you find yourself in a black room with several portals each with its' own number...

That's were you come in and choose a portal to start the "adventure". Comments would be appreciated so I can add them to the mod!

Um it's a late but I think it says that coz you didn't add .wad after the wadname. It's supposed to be "-wadinclude metalandbluetextures.wad" (without the quotes). And also shorten it.

You probably haven't set up the "wadinclude" parameter. To add it, you need Zoners compile tools. First open up the compile window in expert mode. Then add the following in CSG>parameters

-wadinclude anywad.wad

An example would be:

Since when did you need to pay for Goldwave? I've used it way past the evaluation and it still works fine. The only thing in the way is the window where it keeps buggin you to buy it. :D

You can also type "screenshot" in console but that takes a screenie of the console 2. It should be f5 or bind it to a key.

Entity set-up is the problem. Check that the player isn't receiving any medkits or anything similar! If your still stuck, post it up and I'll go check it out! ;)

What's wrong with releasing his (or hers) first map? If you don't like it, don't go to it and it also doesn't matter if you get really bad comments coz you build on from it. And also the question was "how to add a snarks" not "can I add snarks". ANYWAY, the snark should be there like srry said. Check these stuff out if your still stuck:

Have you tried restarting the comp? If that doesn't work, scan your anti-virus and anti-spyware and see if theres anything slowing it down although i don't think thats the main thing creating that error.

Um first of all I don't map for source. Now like dragon fly said, don't carve things! Unless its a square carving ANOTHER square. Also try mapping for HL1 first (plus read some of HL1 tutorials) then move onto Source/HL2 to get the hang of things (basics) and to know what to do and what not to do. :D

I was wondering if we can do that again (later) but like different countries are playing at different time like say in the u.s, all u.s people are playing then after that the aussies go next in an aussie server coz I can't and some other people don't like being delayed (I think that's only me). But then when you think about it, people won't really like it because everyones separated and playing at different times on different servers and not on the one ... what do you think?

The word different was used a lot here...

I've just made a dm map for hl1 and I want it so that EVERYONE only has a suit. I've tried putting a weapon strip that is triggered a trigger_multiple but it only effects ME not anyone else! Please help.

If you're trying to change the view in 1.6, you probably can't (not too sure) and for Hammer do what srry is saying BUT! Since you probably can't open it in hammer and all, there's nothing to do. :( (I think srry is wrong about epsen)

When ever I play a single player map, I always have this red dot in front of my face! I tried using the rpg by turning on the dot on then off, but it's still there! Also I've tried saving then loading, yeah the dot goes away but another comes!

I'm using an OLD comp with a crap graphics card and I always have to remove the blue or black squares/areas on textures manually (like fences and ladders). But I don't know how to remove them from sprites like the teleport one. Please help me out. :)
