wow! I've never seen anything like this map ever! It is soo disorginized with errors all through it.
There was an ambient_generic, that had no wav file assigned to it, and wheres the start? And theres leaks all through it. I expected it to be tidier, I spent 3 hrs already, just fixing it. other than that, I don't know what to do, where is the start, i keep getting teleported to some cliff getting attacked, it completely skips part of the alien ship looking part which looks really cool, i need some help guys.. oh and be sure to include the "!RADIO" texture, I don't have it, so theres a good chance others won't either. Thanks ;)

Oh ok, never realized it till today, argh. Today is Friday.. :P W00TW00T
I'm bugged out today too. I just finished editing 200 frames(bitmaps) for a 20 sec. clip.
I also edited 56 frames for a 5.6 sec loop clip, but need help on converting it to flash.. any one know where I can get a free flash editor?

Ok, when will the map be sent? Sorry Guys, but I wont be starting to map in it, until I know what i'm going to do, its a good tactic I've learned. I won't be mapping as soon as I get the map. Instead i'll just be reviewing the last part alot and brainstorming. Then mapping. you guys should try it. When done, its exactly what you wanted, and its really good... I dunno, you guys should give it a try. Wait 2-3 days before mapping. ;)

mIRC: You want me to use IRC.. well, I would only that where I download it (downloads.com) I get a corrupted file. So eeer. Hopefully it
ll be back up soon.

ya do as seventh said.. use a thin brush over the top of the water tied to a func_illusionary.. "texture::90" you can also try setting up a cool effect using the original !water textures and the SCROLLwater.. this will make it look like its moving in a direction.

Guys by the way.. don't send the map files.. send the rmf's because, the map file may contain an error apon loading and leave out some brushes. Pass the rmf file along.

And good news guys. My family are thinking about maybe not going to fredericton.. Sooo... on that note... Hurry the hell up..lol :P

Nah, I hate models.. The textures of models look too shity when in-game. I'd rather use this instead of a model by far, even if it cost me 1 minute longer to compile. The polycount is great. It compiles quick. So theres no need. And Krept, NO! Making it drivable just makes it suck.
Have you ever tried one.. if you have then you'd know what I mean. It sucks.

Hey guys. Check out my finished truck. I wanted to get decals for the flames to go in the decals.wad file. But couldn't find any. So I had to edit my custom truck wad for the flames... Feedback would be great.. This is only my true second prefab I've made (not for distribution)the other was my jet. I will be fixing it up however with 2 small blue lights on the hood. And I'll be putting a spoiler on it. So yep heres the addy:

STOP! You don't unpack or open the qrad.exe file at all. First download zhlt's (Zoners Half-Life Tools) the rad file is called the "lights.rad" NOT "qrad.exe"

Once found. Open the lights.rad file. A window will come up. Choose the option in which it allows you to choose a program to open it with. (Don't use the internet option) Then click "Notepad" And uncheck the box which says "Always use this Program to open this type of folder."
Once in then you can edit it. Like this:

~texturename 120 120 120 1000
Whereas:
120R, 120B, 120G, 1000 Brightness of light.

That does'nt sound bad at all. How are we doing this guys? with the custom textures. i was going to embed them, all but the hl.wad. But if this is done.. than the next person to recieve the map (BL) will need to have the custom textures.. You see I got a huge wad file, and I dont want to send it, If I use 6-8 textures from it..lol..???

yes some models will not work correctly due to different animations.. such as replacing the v_9mmhandgun.mdl with a semi-automatic machine gun.. doing this may cause inconsistances and may not work correctly. The gun will fire however, the loading animations will mess up.
Anywho's now I'm dragging on.. I better end this before it turns pointless..lol
