i think we should lose the forum post count. some people seems to find it important. it makes the forum very spammy. maby we should lose the login count to, not sure about that, because we may need it for the other idea's.

these are all good idea's. i hope they work.
and i think the administrators should do more against the spamming in the forums. i have not seen one action against it.
its really really much compared to other sites. maby twhl should be a little less noob friendly.

well, sometimes it causes a leak, you better vm your walls after you have carved them, so it is easier to make it brush by brush then carving.

well, steam is better then won. and servers show up quiker. and hl get new upgrades all the time. just dl the 500k installer. then steam will copy your normal hl files to steam and update them. it only takes 10 minutes for me to upgrade my normal hl to steam.

wont work dude, sierra can save a shit load of money by not using won. and won is not related to sierra ore valve, they use the won system. and they decided to stop it using hl. so won still excist, but not for hl anymore. the scan servers will be taken down.

you knwo why they do it, they have to pay for won, for steam they dont. and they got a reliable system for hl2 on mp.
and yes, noone runs a opfor ctf server, all dm.

um, uninstall ms.
then reinstall it.
put in reg key
wait for atleast 4 minutes(then your sure). let the program just run.
then close down the program and restart it.

and you can wait for 30 minutes but the program wont do anything. it recognize the reg key after a few minutes and then it need to be restarted, BUT DONT TOUCH ANY BUTTON IN THE PROGRAM. after you have registered and have to wait for atleast 2 minutes. if this dont work,then i dont know it.

oh and for the people who think: how does he know. read a faq on their forums, they explain it all. so next time take your time to search. i can understand they wont reply to your posts.

and some other modelers, you cant use this for hl but there fun

it is as powerfull as 3dstudiomax but its tricky and you need to be used to a overfilled interface and have a good understanding of 3d modeling to use this program well.

the player cant have total freedom.
how hard is it to understand that. you need to make him follow a path, not a hugh city. give the impression of a hugh city. but make sure he needs to follow a path, its no morrowind ore something like that.

your doing the mapping wrong, thats the problem. you got to make the player follow a determained path. not the freedom. he needs to be focused in the goal: escaping.

yo udo it wrong, make a small part wiht level chnages, and the player doesnt need total freedom, work in the story line, in hl you cant give the player total freedom wiht out a supercomputer.

and yes, i dont want to make this for hl2 yet.
