I have absolutely no bleeding clue as to the answers of any of those questions, but just do what I'm doing and create a map with no plot or purpose, and just have teleporters leading to cool things
(D-Day, a space launch and a headcrab disco amongst others :cool: )

I downloaded an environment map, and to be used it has to go into valve/gfx/env yada yada I understand that. But the punchline here is.....that folder does not exist, even though I havent touched anything. Unless, of course, it's meant to go into valve/gfx/vgui, but I tried that and it does not work GAAAAARRRGGGGGHHHHH :zonked:

How can I take the SAW from opfor and put it into a half-life level? It won't need to be selected, only picked up, fired for a bit, then go through a player_weaponstrip. Oh, and if you're gonna say use wally please EXPLAIN in humiliating detail how to do this, cuz I'm stupid. ta

how can i use a brush based entity that will be attacked by monsters, but without requiring them to destroy it (namely getting headcrabs to jump up and down on the spot - I'm adding a humorous disco type thing into one of my levels)

how do i get fans to rotate about the y axis? I've tried ticking the Y-axis flag and i've got the origin brush running vertically, but it will only roll horizontally ( if at all )

how do i use ambient generics to play wav sounds? i placed a bunch in half-life/valve/sounds but the game refuses to play them. i dont know if they are not being recognised, but its extremely irritating
