by the way any one know where i can download some hl or even better Op4 players models? dont even try to say "google". I've found nothing after searching 1 h!(nothing usefull that is) Something similiar to the site i've given link to but on hl or Op4 would be just G-R-E-A-T! I want to rock!

Here is my map i was making it more than 4 h (don't know how many, maybe 4 maybe 6 h?) I need some help, click the link to know more. It's an interesting map (idea), i'll retexture it, add more parts of that map (dream, outdor map not sure what, lab and circuis (i hope that i'll find any textures for it) and maybe that'll be all, maybe i'll add something more... Anyway i'm waiting for help here, just wan't that better mapers tell me what i've done wrong, how to fix that and what i should improve, i'm still learning don't forget that ;)

it makes map visible. But mine is not. I've restarted comp 2 times and is ok :nuts: well i've also changed many lights from flickers to normal, deleted few useless entities (used for scripted sequences) and everything is ok. I had hl model viever also in background. Maybe that was the couse. actualy everythings ok so no problem :D

well actualy my w_polly on my new map are from 20 to 64 and e_polly max 1500, but why my fps are from !4! to 30 max!?what what can be done? i have no big open areas, 2 monsters actualy(with fx_value 100), scripted sentence a room with black texture, corridor and few brushes and func_walls. And 3 blue 3 green and 1 red light :D Thats all, no more "and", so what can be done to have fps higher form 4-30?

Well, everything is ok for that, but i want other scripted sequence, a sciencist pulling a needle, giving shot and finnaly return needle. Everything is ok but i want him NOT to go to scripted sequence but to player (it looks stupid whe he is "giving a shot" to the air) I've seen another scripted sequence topics and i coudn't find answer anywhere, so plz tell me how i can do that script run correctly.

My fyrst map? A room a big box in the middle 1 working light shotgun, battery, healtkit and ammo boxes. And even a rpg. What can be done more? add more boxes? add 1 more light? textures were ok already =:D There is no sense in recreating THAT first map...

i know you're all stunned, but be nice and read it :) Just want to know you understand that and to know what you think of it. :D And i don't know "what" actualy i'll get when i copy that dll :D Monsters? why do i need them? But it could be a cool idea, buying snarks and... HL weapons! that's and idea! :D Another one for my collection...

Jahzel, i'm not to sure but i remember that i played hl with bots for some time, and i think it was Jumpbot, could actualy be Jumbot but 1 thing i remember for sure. They were not good. They were cheating*.

*- I realy say CHEATING. They always have ALL weapons at start (especialy that blue funky laser, actualy they still could be killed so that was nice, full ammo for me always, even if there was no laser in the map :D)

I know how to make a scripted sequence, but how to make it to repeat? I have a scienctist that is walking throught corridor, and hit dors at the end. I want it to hit those dors forever not only once. I checked repetable and repeat rate to 1. And nothing. Ofcourse i can always use a multimanager... just want to know is there an easier way than triggering it all the time.

actualy they quicky scoped and fired BEFORE scoping was visible. They alt-fire and quickly fired. I've done that many times when was 'ambushed' and had awp in hands... but i think that if you have played much no crosshair is needed...

Well, here are some cs (hl and any other mod) crosshairs. But i'm not sure is it actualy possible to see crosshair without zoom :( maybe it is, maybe not
ps: awp originaly HAD a crosshair. After few updates ...not.

well my first map was a big (well, not as big) room with a box in the middle. It was dm map players start falling onto the box picking up shotgun with ammunitions, than they can fall runing for health and weapons or be "king of the hill" (or king of the box), i've added bots (there was actualy no need for waypoints :) ) And ...that was a cool map! Meat everywhere! Eh, i've made even WORKING light so that 1 side of box was actualy lit! :D yes, those were great times...

NO! Blah, i was talking about something like CS multiplayer, but without "rounds". EXAMPLE: Start map: de_dust Side:Terrorists Objective:Blow up some boxes cash:1000$, at the end counter-terrorists win, than replay, agin 1000$ cash and all. When Terrors finnaly win, than another map cs_estate objective:kill all ct cash:1600$ + 200 for any1 killed in prievious mission, and ofcourse it could be cool to buy weapons and stuff BEFORE the mission in a special window with buttons: "1" "Buy equipment" "2" "mission objecitves" "3" "show mission map" (overview) <= this could be done with that file, commandmenu was the name i think. How to do that? well, i'm not sure maybe before mission another map will load and there you could buy stuff, when you done you can go to the mission with all you have bought. Something like that i think. And to not make it so easy you're always going to have 3 bots (there can be 4-6 enemies or more) And you need to stay alive and keep alive at least 1 bot. And? What do you think? Some of these settings are easy, but some are not... thx for reading

Well, i've made a spike, there was an error, i've clicked fix problem and it becomed infinite long (there was no end or beggining) and well i thought i've deleted that spike...

:( :( :( i was amking map, and ...BANG! and i'm dead. Well no actualy i have a map, everything is allright but can't compile, zoner tolls say that there is an error, brush outside wordl, well, ok i'll delete that brush, but... how? i can't see any brush! I NEVER had similiar error before so i don't know what to do. :( :( :(

PS- there should be some reward system also. 1-mission 1000 $ 2-1600 $ 3-2000 $ and so on.. And maybe additional cash for kill? +200 $?(normally 300). So it could look like that : first mission,1000$cash, rescue hostages, blah, blah. 2 mission: prevent bombing, 1600$+400 for 2 kills= 2000. And what do you think about that idea? Oh, and no easy,medium, hard, maybe this can be changed to : Terrorists campaign, CTerrorists campaign. At end of Terro campaign you end rich on your own island, at end of CT you get shot by terror :D (or get retired eventualy)

Well, propably many peoples noticed that there are many un-used command in counter strike 1.6, like for example: "carrer"(and similiar). So i wonder is it actualy possible to make a single player for that game? Many peoples say that in 1.6 originaly included bots, but they're not in final version. I think that those parts were taken away to condition zero, to make it more attractive or something. SO matbe it is actualy possible to make a few changes so that it's possible to add bots to single player (pod bots are good for that i think), make cool mission briefing (played Poke646? something like that) to see frags is actualy not a problem, radio can actualy stay as it is, only add cool maps, and map changes (some old maps are actualy good) and we have a counter strike single player version! It sounds easy i think. And i've never heard about anything similiar to this ever be done, so why not try?

ps:
p_thing.mdl ->weapon that other players see
v_thing.mdl -> weapon that you see (left hand)
v_thing_r.mdl ->weapon that you see (right hand)
w_thing.mdl ->weapon that everybody see on the ground (there are no weaons on the ground in tfc.)
Weapons and stuff go to [mod folder]models
Player models go to models/player/[model name]

in tfc/models with changed names ( p_shotgun.mdl or p_smallshotgun.mdl/ v_shotgun.md and v_shotgun_r.mdl or v_smallshotgun.mdl and v_smallshotgun_r.mdl/w_sho... no w_thing, i remember that there are no weapons on the ground in tfc...) Simple eh?

GOOD! I finnaly made everything to work and can create/join server. But there is one problem. When i joined UK2 server everything worked for me. but only for me. No one seen my player model or guns :( Maybe other servers works, but i don't think so. Any1 know is this actualy possible?

hey i've found that ONLY that 1 p_model was not right (changed that already) but now i've found that all new models are left handed (well, not. left h. is right h.,right h. is left h.) so now i need to fix files names (or i think so) OMG thats MAAAANNYYY files :(

hey, i've installed some models (players, models and shells) on steam. Now i can't start or join any server. When i try everuthing is allright but finnaly it goes back to main screen. I'm sure that everything is allright, i used instructions and all... What can be done now? Is installing models for cs 1.6 much diffrent then 1.5?

hi, i want to bind some things to key in CS 1.6 I try <bind j "buy;menuselect 2;menuselect 1" and nothing. I only know that <bind j buyequip;menuselect 2" actualy works (and is buying armor+helmet). So if buyequip is for equipment, what is for pistols and rifles?
PS-i'm posting on this formum becouse i don't want to register on any cs site (register only for 1 post?). I've googled and found only "buyequip" so plz help

... you think i don't run vis? i want to have a full blackness and don't want to see things that are there (if a bone will fall there it should sink in the blackness) maybe a i'll try something like func_water with texture black and wave height 0. Is this a good solution?
