If you ask me, some songs probably do have things reversed into them, y'know, jokes, mocking the Stairway to Heaven story, etc. The Slim Shady -> Eminem does seem a bit of a coincidence, although most of it just comes down to the fact that there are a lot of words in our language.

I'm not sure about all the "touch this", "touch that", "leave the PC plugged in", etc. As an electronics student, my advice is simply "don't touch the pins". Would make more sense to me if the advice was "touch the socket before you install the CPU". No, wait, that makes as little sense as touching the CPU pins directly if the socket's not earthed. Hum.
Hey, that could actually be a useful resource. Those willing to be benchmarked could compile four maps: two big, two small; two well-made, two poorly-made. The times and specifications could be recorded. Sweet idea, dude :P.

Really, though, there are so many tutorials on the basics, and it's mostly like HL. There's no point in covering it again ? especially when we're talking about official resources. The HL2world wiki has an entity guide, too.

Any decent FTP client should enable you to upload whole folders. I personally recommend SmartFTP.

While the topic's up, does anyone know how Hammer prioritises WADs? Is it by the order they're in the Texture List, or alphabetical?
Why would anyone bother? All the new features are for the engine, really.
NTSC is 27.99 FPS, if I remember correctly. That's over five thousand frames of editing. Not practical :|.
