The Senate has passed legislation banning torture, but the Bush administration is seeking an exemption for the CIA spy agency.

"We do not torture and therefore we're working with Congress to make sure that as we go forward, we make it more possible to do our job," Mr Bush said.

Capitalism promotes developement. It's a bit sad that some people need it, but it does work a lot better than, well, anything else we've tried.
Oh Karl the world isn't fair
It isn't and never will be
They tried out your plan
It brought misery instead
If you'd seen how they worked it
You'd be glad you were dead
Just like I'm glad I'm living in the land of the free
Where the rich just get richer
And the poor you don't ever have to see
It would depress us, Karl
Because we care
That the world still isn't fair
  • "The World Isn't Fair", by Randy Newman. Great lyrics, if not massively on-topic.
If only machines could do as much as communists hoped during the industrial revolution-ish period.

Probably not in the same order, though.

If you used Spirit, you could move the trigger_teleport across the line of players and change the target as you went. That could keep the right order.

In the past, somebody tried decompiling the CZ model and then recompiling it. I imagine the format is slightly different, but the decompilers are more modern and tolerant than the engine.

Surely you could just have several teleports? If not, you can certainly disable teleporters, so you could have several in the same place, decide which to disable and enable with some complicated entity work, and teleport a bunch of people. I doubt you'll be able to get them coming out in the same positions, though.

HAHAHAA! Even I know CompUSA is a joke, and I'm not even American :D.

Look at a real shop, mate. You'll want more RAM, too. 512MiB isn't great. The CPU's alright. You might want to look at benchmarks of the new-ish low-end X?00s, the X700 and such. I don't know how they perform; could be an idea. Otherwise I'd say a RADEON 9800 or a GeForce 6600.

Ant: that shows how poor a card it is. It uses 16MiB of main memory for texture storage!

I imagine getting a new graphics card will increase performance and quality massively.

I think they're randomly tiling ones. You'd name a few of them like so:

-0TEXTURE
-1TEXTURE
-2TEXTURE
-3TEXTURE

and then if people were running in software mode, they'd be tiled randomly. Helps break up the monotony of textures on big brushwork.

My guess would be software which would artificially grant root priveliges to a lower-level user? Just from the name :P.

Since only three people have posted so far, it's a bit early to say that nobody else cares.

Incidentally, I was relieved to find myself clean of all but three terminator-containing keys. I guess I should check them out, but they didn't look very serious, and can't be doing much on their own. This is exactly the kind of malware I always wondered and worried about. Only found that it existed when this story <did whatever big stories do>.

Rootkits are pieces of very low-level malware which practically become part of the OS. It's a NIX term, in fact.

If there's one way to make Windows even worse, it's to let a load of programming morons who think DRM is a good idea change your OS.

The ones like that are probably because the compilers are looking for parts of a set of randomly patterned tiles. Don't give textures prefixes like -4 if they're just ordinary.
