The texture could do with some decoration... like a stripe all the way along or something. It's some very nice brushwork, but the texturing is poor.

You didn't make it a cylinder by accident, and a very very narrow one, with the outside being the buttons?

It just means to create a brush that's the size of the space you want.

Just to warn you, those tutorials are for Half-Life, not Source... the basics are the same, though.

  • Never resize images in HTML. Resample the image itself, and specify its real size in the "height" and "width" properties.
  • Never use Comic Sans. Ever.
As for the menu, I'd suggest putting the Home link on top, that's most common and people expect it to be one of the first ones.
My thought exactly.

At least the images work now.

Error: Missing '[' in texturedef (U)
Read this. The page is invaluable for looking up error messages.

As for the "missing filesystem.dll" error, that's caused by trying to run the game at the end of the compile process. Don't do that; do it manually instead and the problem won't come up. You might want to read the Running a BSP tutorial for help on that.

Well, it's not helped by the Pirate Bay:
Unlike certain other countries, such as the one you're in, we have
sane copyright laws here. But we also have polar bears roaming the streets and attacking people :-(.
As you may or may not be aware, Sweden is not a state in the United States of America. Sweden is a country in northern Europe.

When he walked in he was surprised at the ammount of ordanance in the room. The room it self was fairly big, with four tables in rows of two in the middle, there was a broken combine console on the back wall.
Sounds like that hut at sundown... the one with the few combine in? By the river.
