?UNITS DOWN IN SECTOR 3:14, REMAINING UNITS CONTAINED.?
You don?t flinch. In the past couple of weeks you have heard more and more reports of metrocops being wounded and killed in the city. However, seeing as you were reassigned to the canal district months ago then it seems that it?s no longer your problem.
You keep your rifle steady and continue to recon the rebel outpost across the water. The local units had never seen Gate 5 as a crucial location but now that the rebels had moved in it was all they could talk about. You never really shared their callous opinions of the citizens of City 17. As far as you are concerned, you?re just doing your job.
Just as you are about to call it a night, the gate suddenly creaks into action and starts to open. You scan the windows of the control tower, looking for the one who activated it. Just then, you spot them. A head pops into view, a young male rebel, checking that the gate is operating. This is the first rebel movement you seen all day and your trigger finger is getting itchy. You fire off a single round, smashing into the man?s temple. He splutters loudly and goes limp, his upper body dangling from the opening. Just then, a small craft speeds through the gate. You quickly whip your rifle around and aim down the scope. The operator is a young woman, in regular citizen attire. You fire a shot which ricochets off of the boats sturdy frame. You fire once more, but the shot falls short and the hover boat vanishes behind an embankment. You glance back to the outpost, noticing a lot more rebels rushing around the yard like ants, disturbed by the loud shots.
What now?
A) Pursue the female in the airboat
B) Eliminate the rest of the rebels in the yard
C) Call in reinforcments and storm the outpost
D) Retire for the evening and report to your superiors
