Heres my desk in januari 2006, i had just finishd rigging my flightstick to my chair, unfortunately the structure gave in from the throttle quadrant, so now im replacing the armrest with a wooden structure.

You can see the hughe amount of space the 2 CRT screens take up, the 2 19inch screens are roughly located below the glass/yellow rim.

User posted image

Sorry 'bout the size.

My journal entry has a few more photo's and info on the flight-setup.

i had the flatscreens since december 2006, i believe the 21st. My bro and dad also have one of these, i just knew i had to switch when i saw the amazing colour differance between a CRT and a LCD. Everything looked much more alive and prettier.

yeah, if taken care of most of them should be able to last a few years, this is just bad luck really, and it isnt important enough to go back to the store, LG has a warranty so that they will replace the screen.

I feel sorry for you people on the small 17inch single screen.

EDIT: Orp,

i baught 2 LG 1919S flatron Flatscreens, 19 inch and rather cheep actualy. I wouldnt go with widescreen, just because it still has a few sideeffects in games, as cutting of the edges of the screen, or strechting it out instead of widening the angle.

i have a very little dead pixle at the bottom, i noticed it one in the last 2 months, and frankly, the space is used by my taskbar.

The price was cheap, only 218 euro's a piece, probably a bit more expensive in the USA because of the low course of the Dollar. No side-effects in games, and it saves a whole lot of deskroom, let me show you a set-up of my old desktop.

This was an unprovoked, vindictive attack on Habboi, who has suffered a very real loss.

It is horrifying to think people can be so heartless, but like ZombieLoffe pointed out - it's the internet - you get all sorts of fucked up mentally ill people, which Caboose clearly is.
Its a FUCKIN CAT.

Heck, even if it was a animal, why the fuck would i care if it died, then he tragicly posts about it on a less then half serious internet website, and when someone jokes about it you guys are offended. Now THAT is what i call idiocracy. In my oppinion we humans are dealing with death and loss way to heavy. Animals handle death rites a lot better IMHO.

Interesting, especially since they're just plain ol' video games and not special games designed for training or the like.
There was a piece about this on the radio a while ago, wich stated that gamers, of action games, had a better perception of there surroundings.

Yes, texture reesolution is the biggest change, but lest not jump to conclusions until i got it all into Half-life Mkay?

Garg, blender could be a good piece of software if it werent for the fact that it is even worse documentated then G-max.

Because i love you people so much and to prove that i got the little f**ker out of G-max into Anim8or and thus allowing me to export it to a commenly handled format in wich i can hopefully compile this into a model. Wich seems unlikely right now because i hate blender and milkshape hates me.

in the .SMD are all the animations that need to be compiled into the model, and there should also be a line of code somewhere that tells it to randomly play them i believe, same as the idle1 idle2 etc animations.

Good news, i got the models from G-max into Blender, wich has better HL support i hope.

i first exported it to a MD3 with the Gamepack, then i imported in Lithunwrap from wich i exported it to the Wavefront .OBJ format. All i need to do know is get the textures right.

And here is the evidence.

Arcan? How do you explain the south polars are growing?

Earth axis and climate shifting would and could cause a lot of things not of us man would be able to contradict. I used to believe we were the cause of the climate change, but after taking a look at earths history i decided that we were over estimating ourselves, the thing we are obviously best at, dont get me wrong though, i do think we should invest in alternative energy sources so we dont shift the problem to future generations.

One of the biggest problems with us is that we see ourselves as something everlasting wich has full control, but in fact were less then a speckle on earths history, wich has been very very moving, giant ice ages wich covered the complete world then followed up by a lot of climate changes.

And i suppose we should just adapt to the new situations, hopefully it would shrink the world population too, wouldnt be to bad.
