It's every second day.Thank you for your correction
Ok, I think a lot of people are missing the entire point of gun control. It isn't to stop every criminal in the country from obtaining guns - as you said, anyone can get a gun if they're dedicated enough - it's about getting less guns on the street and in the hands of potentially dangerous people. No, gun control laws will not stop every murder in the country. But it will stop SOME. And that's enough of a reason to have them.Damn straight. Besides, its not like they actually help with these situations. In many school massacres, students and (more importantly) teachers who could have used a gun didn't, because they didn't own one of had one on them. So why say "Oh yeh, they're perfect protection against this and other potential incidents" when they blatantly aren't.
Yeah, civil wars all over the place and terrorism through the roof. You guys rock. Maybe it's time to realize invading Iraq wasn't the right thing to do?Another thing i agree with. I seem to remember an interview with one of former members of the Iraq cabinet who said Iraq was on the verge of civil war. Although, this is another topic, and i won't stray on it again.
Is it just me, or do school shootings only ever happen in America?Apparently there was one in Germany a few months back. But it was nothing serious...
Long ago dinosaurs ruled the earth. They ruled the earth because they were bigger than everyone else and no one would fight them. Dinosaurs were very lazy and never went to school, they just hung around the shopping mall being rude to kind old ladies. Then there came the news of a huge comet heading for earth. This news was in all the papers, but as the dinosaurs couldn't read they didn't know about it, and of course, there was no TV then, so they never found out.Anyway, merry christmas to you too.
The newspapers said that when the comet came it would make the weather very cold. All the little mammals, who attended their lessons, read this and grew fur coats so they would keep warm. All the dinosaurs had were baseball caps (which, for some reason, they always wore backwards) and baggy shorts, so when the comet arrived, they all froze to death. This just goes to show that school is a good thing, even if it doesn't seem like it.
38_98 You said one thing but wanted to say a few?But i did say more then one thing. I said that he can say pretty much what he wants and 2) you can just ignore him.
You're the only one capable of acknowledging your errors. Its only my job to mention them.Isn't quoting it mentioning my errors and the me acknowledging them we be for me to admit it was an error? And not to acknowledge would be to argue it or shake it off?
You lead us to believe that there are no memorial days in small European countries Zombieman... Is this so?Apart from November 11th (end of either WWII or WWI, i forget which), which is pretty much universal in Europe, Britain doesn't have that many memorial days, at least not as far as i can remember. We have Guy fawkes night, but thats more "lets burn him" thing.
Jeez people. Its a memorial thread, not a holiday to honor evil.Quote where it was proclaimed as a holiday of evil and we'll - or at least i will admit that i was wrong.
Most people can afford curtains and earplugs.Curtains, yes. Earplugs, no. When i say loud music, i mean music that can rumble the water in someones glass next door. Earplugs just don't stop that.
Fuck, if the UK, USA and France would have stopped Hitler before he invaded other countries - there might have not been another world war.Well, they did, but in a pussy way, saying that him invading other countries was to 'appease' him. We were pretty much Hitler's bitches.
If you don't care about people dying or dead, thats a bit sad. If you didn't care at all, you'd post nada, zip, zilch.Well, what im saying is that it's kinda hard to care about people outside your own culture or country. I bet you'd care more for an American family who lost their house then a Asian one that did.
