well. it's not entirely toooo difficult. i mean. he's seemingly random, and his speed is phenomenal, But when buckethead actually plays it, he uses a killswitch (actually i think it's a button) on the guitar to cut the signal to the amp.

thats where the into comes from. so it's basically just one chord with a pattern of kills, and then a couple scale notes..

But on guitar hero 2 it's a pain in the bitch.
i never got past 64% on expert :(

I've heard that song before, and like it actually.
I like a little bit of every genre of music.
Mostly only rock tho.

But i believe that to actually perform is where the real skill lies.
To perform you not only have to get the notes right, but you have to put on a visual show for the crowd. Put forth all your energy into the music and the show.

It's about being an entertainer :-P

I believe the compile processes (csg, bsp, vis, rad) have to proceed one another. Therefore making a multi-machine-compile extraordinarily difficult, or impossible.

i've gotten that before. Make sure there's only one sky texture in your complete collection of wads. Re-save the wad with wally, and try it again.

What i did was just copied the halflife.wad texture into my custom wad. I guess if you use a sky texture from a wad that's already in use, and there's another sky texture, it screws everything up.

Well.. if it's for CS...
(i have no clue if this will work or not it's just a guess)

Doors close (reset) after each round. so if you make the door trigger a trigger_changetarget when it closes (after each round) maybe the changetarget can trigger a multimanager to play a certain track, then like it just repeats itself..

just a thought

Well we also have to decide if is going to be a single-player map or a multi-player map.

Like invalid potato mentioned.

so just a straight mansion with rooms with single entrances is a no-go.
So like.. arena-type rooms reflecting the layout of one's personal living space which ties into game-play elements would be better.

The rooms have to flow into one another. probably minimizing the need for a single hallway/dead-end layout most people (well, me anyway) are imagining.

And... Goldsource or Source..

or the goldsource people can make one, and then the Source people can make one.

And then it'll be which source engine.. source. ep1 or ep2..

so. lots of deciding is mandatory before anyone does anything.

And try flea markets.
They usually have cheap Chinese Airsoft ones.
you know.. the ones that come with assembly instructions printed in chinese on rice paper...
