SpaG, the image-handling module installed on the server seems to break PNG transparency.

Daubster, 180x180 is stupidly big. You've seen the one-line posts from people with top-size avatars, and they look dumb ? plus they're rather irritating for people at low resolutions, I'm sure.

Elon: I think the MV listing is pretty crowded as it is. It'd be pretty hard to attract attention to stuff that way; that might be what the Map of the Week thing would do.

Use a multisource as a master. Naming something game_playerspawn or possibly "roundreset" should have an entity fired at the beginning of a new round. jaardsi did an Example Map on using multisources as masters.

Can't understand the complaints about Kasperg's competition. Our competitions are always pretty flexible. Stick to the restrictions and map vaguely to the description.
Not sure that there'd be much point in running unofficial competitions really either. They will indeed be running far more frequently, and there will be official Source ones.
