I dont wanna use the old method.

And i actually found out how to do it:

"Ok I've played around a little so will try and explain basically how it is done. Bring up the texture application tool and go to the displacement tab. Now select the face you wish you turn into a displacement surface. Click create and you will be prompted to enter a power, which will determine the number of points on the surface that you can lower or raise. Now select paint geometry and you can move around a little select thing. Left clicking and moving the mouse will raise points, while right clicking will lower points. You can increase the size of the selection tool by using alt and left mouse dragging. Play around with other options to get the grip of it."

But i cant figure out how to make to textures overlap each other so you can paint the fading... Lige grass that slowly fades into dirt. It has something to do with those blend textures, i just cant get it to work...

in How to import models? Post #72076
Yea, in hammer 4.

Well its not a human model, its just an object ive made inside maya. And im only able to save/export it to either an .mb (maya binary) or an .ma (maya ascii) file.

But wasnt there supposed to be a feature in the new hammer that made importing models and objects easy?
