when i run sdk it comes up with the menu but when i click on hammer it says it cant find the file. its installed and updated whats wrong?

Try reinstalling the Source SDK.

Are hl2 and cs:source both installed? Make sure you've at least loaded both games into their main menu screens.

Yeah make sure you can run the games, is it possible the game files have not been decrypted yet? And I suppose the real question is - did it use to work?
