Just wondering, although i know you guys will be biased..... just want to see if i get the same results, i think halo had better ending and was overall funner, cant forget the multiplayer. well, try to defend your lovely game!

agreed, superior visuals and funner game play, a multiplayer thats just as good as halo 2's. an ending even better then halo 2's(I accually find both endings perfect for the games).

i think both endings are bad, but man, the only thing mult player has is gravity gun. I think i have harsh feelings twords HL because i mostly cheated and thought the ending sucked, like a anticlimax, it not really doing anything new, it was just like the old one.

Yes, news of a sequel to HL3 was announced before HL2 was out. HL1 had a similar ending: it made sure you wanted more.
Half-Life 2 is definately the superior game.

Well I played Halo 2, and didn't see why it was so great. I mean, its was pretty fun, but I really didn't see what all the fuss was about. But I'm sure many Halo 2 fans so see the big deal with Half Life either. Or maybe they do see that Half Life 2 is much better they are just stupid.....

future perfect rocks. hey, whats your gamertag, we should swap custom maps sometime.
for me, it was really halo 2. half life 2 was nice, and a beast of a game, but its multiplayer really lacked, and i've never liked that kind of "what you do is storyline" kind of plot. anyone who thinks half life 2s multiplayer could beat halo 2s should be shot,decapitated, hung and raped, in that order. i mean seriously, all you do is run around and shoot people. there's no customisation! valve just threw in a spunked up version of counter strike to act as a multiplayer, and that wasnt even they're original project.

True, but HL2 is very mod friendly, give it a year and I think there will be tons of fun multiplayer mods
