Ive got loads a problems, First, i can't make ambient_generic to turn on by a switch, WHICH IS PRROPERLY DONE, it automattically turns on at the start, and the switch (somehow-looks side to side-)only turns it off , hoow, when WHY If you know the cause of the problem please put it in this forum

secondly my PROPERLY MADE laser goes to the target i made it to, and then it goes to the corner of the map?!?!?!

IF you know the cause of the proplem please put it in this forum , thank you! gasp

For the ambient_generic, in the flags, tick "Start Silent". Set the name to whatever and trigger it. Don't forget to set the volume and that stuff.
I don't know about the lazer?

Is it an Env_Beam or an Env_laser?

make sure you have two targets for the laser, the starting entity, and the ending entity

New problem! when i make a func_tracktrain and do all the settings PROPERLY (yep, even the env_path) it somehow isn't there when i play it!

if you know the... Oh crap, well you know what to do!

On somwe of my levels i fall through the floor and i stop 3cm below it !!??

I.....Just do it!

Also there's gunna be a new competion which you should enter! Farewe...Argghh

A track train rotates when it turns corners, so it's a rotating thing. Elon means you probably don't have an origin brush tied with the track train like what you do with rotating things. All you have to do is create a brush that has the texture "ORIGIN" (you'll find that in halflife.wad) and place it in the middle of the train, then select the train and the origin brush, and press Ctrl+T. If it asks you adding the selected solid to existing entity, click yes.

hyperventilating.....Does that mean phsyco?ahh, the computer suddeny froze and cliked the mouse several times, then loadsa smileys came up , then it says 'your reply has been posted' . hey, here's a quizOn which HL mod a scientist on a pc says 'Damn That Monkey'-clue- the texture on the pc monitor has got the word -Gravy Trader on it. ;)

Another problem, is there any way to stop the train going on path_tracktrain? my train auto goes where i want it to go but without me controlling it,why? :confused:

You mean that you it to start off when you load the level for I have done it in my example map- http://twhl.co.za/mapvault_map.php?id=2993 ;)

If you want a controllable train like in the capter "on a rail" you will need a Func_traincontrolls! Make a cube somewhere on your train, texture it with the aaa texture and turn it into an entity(Func_traincontrolls). Write in the train name value the name of the Func_tracktrain and now you can drive the track train!!! :)

If you want the Func_tracktrain to stop in the middle of the level just trigger it!!!
