On one of my maps I have like 70 Barneys vs. 1 Gargantua, but the Gargantua ALWAYS wins! Is there anyway to make it lose?

Well, have you not played HL? You kill the garg at one point, and I'm fairly sure that's not just scripted.

it can only be hurt by explosives... a barney pistol wont do anything bar give it a sore head

The Egon works well, but only player can use it :(

I there any big monsters that Barney's work weel against? Like an apache, or that Tentacle thingy?

barneys will get slaughtered by an apache and the tentical creature wont be recognised by the barney's AI.... when u first see barney he runs out as if to shoot and then gets slaughtered.. this isnt AI, its a script... so that wont work either.

Do 20 barneys Vs 10 alien_grunts..

that'll be an interesting 1

Aliens fire slowly and have gay bees whereas Barney's have fast firing metal shooting cannons!

We are talking about the same game right :P

Right- my map is almost done HOWEVER, there is one final enemy, that has been created through a monstermaker , and i want the game to end when it dies, but i cant find trigger conditions for that monster. How do i do it?

Don't use a monstermake to spawn the monster, make it "teleport" in with scripted_sequences ( monve to position = Instantaneous )

And for battles: Less is more. 2 grunts, 1 barney, player + 1 or 2 aliens + a load of scripting works better than 40 grunts on 40 barneys...

Or make the monsters fall on a teleport with the monsters flag chacked!!!If you don't want scripting it will also save you your time!

GAH! I cant get the game to end!

I've got a multisource and a game-end, and i'm usin the monsters death as the trigger for the multi! WTF HAVE I DONE WRONG?
