I am sorry if this was already covered.

I can't figure out how to configure HL2DM correctly.

When I try to start Hammer, I get:

Warning

The configuration information for the game you're trying to edit is invalid or missing.

When I click to "Run Anyway",
Hammer opens.

Then, Another evil Box pops up:

Warning

gameinfo.txt doesn't exist in c:program filesvalvesteamsteamappsbrattylordhalf-life 2 deathmatchhl2mp

This is probably a noob error, but, What I do wrong here?

Try running HL2DM first, then booting Hammer with the config.

If that fails, refresh the SDKContent from the Launcher and try again.

That was wierd, after a few tries it finnaly work.

Anyone have an idea what the problem was?

You were missing the gameinfo.txt like a lot of people get at first...
For me I copied it into the directory and it worked but opening HL2, then trying it works because it is not updated or something.

It's missing because you probably haven't run the game - The SDK documentation tells you that you need to run the game before trying to edit with that configuration or else it will not have the gameinfo in place.
