I got half of it but the rest i cant get is this for only HL maps because i want to make a cs map >:|

Just a piece of advice, don't go making CS maps. You can't expect people to play them on a decent server. CS players are afraid of change and only want to play default maps.

While I agree with what m0p is saying--I only play cs_assault and Iceworld--I must disagree about discouraging it.

My new projects are only cs maps, because that's all my friends and I play. At least if it's cs, you'll probably be able to coax players/admins to at least try them.

Well me and my friend are getting a server by saturday atleast and im hoping to make a map for the server even maybe make map's so does anyone have any tuts that are for noobs like me in hammer and has specific things and where to find everything?

You just got some links to tutorials, actually. Especially the last one is an easy to follow one, dotted with screenshots to guide you. Shouldn't be too difficult following it.

id personally recomend you do all the in the begining tuts, the basics of both games are the same. and every in te begining but the last can, and must be applied to both games to make a good map. for example, tut 4 lighting, you can't make a good map without knowing how to use lights. and tut 5, maps can be really, really bad if they are barren and empty

I thought this guy barely new how to make a solid cube room, he needs to make maps that he knows.. I think. I don't really know anything about cs or dm, haven't made or played any of those.

I made a new map go look at it in the vault its a smaller one but yet IT ACTUALLY WORKS! Ps I dont know how to make perfect maps :- because i like add up brishes by making new ones and putting them in but u can still like see it out side anyone has any tuts on how to make everything look prefect as in for textures ??? ...

Practise, and read the Texture Application tutorial.
