I have reason to believe that the compile times that zoner's tools give you are somewhat inaccurate. So, I made a small utility that will give you very accurate times, to 15 decimal places. Get it here: tekcities.com/fragmeister/files/basic/protime.zip

You may have to right-click and click "save as".

Please give me comments, suggestions, or anything!

When i choose save as, it saves as a html file. :/

no, it just tells you how long your compile took. I can't decrease your compile time.

Um, why the hell would you want a stopwatch 'accurate' to fifteen decimal places?

I don't see the need for such a tool actually, as Seventh said...

Or are you learning to program and chose an exercise for yourself or such?

I just got FreeBasic, and am learning how to use it. I've been using qb for 4 or 5 years, (maybe more), and this was something that I wanted just for fun, figured other people might benefit from it. But the download still doesn't work, so don't bother trying until I fix it.

Hey, if you need any help, I'm here. I've used QBASIC for a while, too (I still have my first QB program on my computer) and just got the hang of FreeBasic a couple months ago.

Freebasic is cool because the syntax is identical to qb with about 2 exceptions. BTW, I think the link might work now! At least it works in ie. I only had trouble w/firefox. (scary, huh!)

I've used QBasic too. 7 years ago. I'm glad I switched to C++ actually.

// Now to finish that logigram program... gotta write a script parser for the input and a solving alghorithm for, well, the input... ;)

C/C++ are good languages to know, but i'm way too lazy to learn! :tired:
