Imageshack is better for image storing! :P It has an unlimited storage amount!

you can store any file in gmail (up to 10 mb) imageshack has a 1mb storage place, and you have to remember all the links to the images you host. gmail is a simple way to organize more than just pictures...

No it doesn't, it's just not specified.

You don't have to remember all the links! :D They're listed in the "my image" page! :)

I also like the way gmail posts messages as a conversation, so you know what you said, what what the answer, etc.
It would be extra nice if you could link files with gmail. I think +2 gb is way too much for emails. I'd rather have that for hosting my maps, for example.

Gmail is great, but what's even better is Gmail POP. Now I don't even need to go through the site!

Gmail > All. It's fast, simple UI, no ads and most importantly, google isn't an evil satan-run corporation.

One thing about gmail that bothers me (its no big deal, but I thought I would bring it up) is that when you carry on a conversation with someone in an email it puts parerenthesis () and a number next to the email. I use Outlook at work, and i constantly think i have new mail in gmail because of those numbers (in out look (1) means one new message) Not entireley inportant, i know, but this is the proper thread to mention these things.

outlook is from microsoft, and therefore is evil. :thefinger: I only use it to sync my ppc.

Then I guess the insurance industry is evil.... lol it is :) :nuke:
I like outlook, I just dont like the price tag attached to Office products. they work wonderfully, and I never have issues with them, but it costs way too much for me to want to buy it. But thay doesnt matter, cuz I got ahold of a cracked Office, and a cracked Windows XP, so I can make all the computers I want, as long as I dont Windows Update. (which I never do anyways ;) ) Us TWHLers have a tendancy to get off topic.... now, back to gmail!

The best features in Gmail can be summed up in two words:

1. shortcut
2. thread

It's revolutionary. I can't imagine emails any other way now.

Thunderbird does messages by threads. I'm not sure whether it followed GMail, though. Opera beat GMail on the subject, though.
