Ok...my steam dont work...corrupted files?...so I thought I would leach all my photo's and other stuff to my other computer...I shared the file..set an IP address on the buggered computer and still cant find it from the good computer...but I can still share the internet conection when I want... any thoughts or solutions would be appreciated...:D

ok. What? Your steam doesnt work.. BLAHBLAHBLAHBLAH and.. you transfered all your files to a different computer.. and then you lost the files?

no, I have not transfered the files yet, good computer can't find other computer, I believe I have set up the conection ok....or maybe not, can you help....oh and im doing this so I save important stuff and re-format the buggered computer, I tried to download STEAM again but still wont work..

Oh ok i understand a little better now. Is that because of a firewall? and i have a suggestion. If you cant get that to work you could try copying the files to CDs and floppy disks. Or email them to your self, open and download on good pc (that wouldnt be practical if there were alot of files)

only 2.8 meg 0f stuff I want to keep so I'll burn of a couple of cd's

Thats the first persons problem ive actually fixed! sweet...
