I made a wad file for a snow map. The snow flake texture is a scroll texture so I could make falling snow. Buuuuuuuut... the snow only scrolls to the right. I can't get it to scroll down. Help me!

It's in 7th tutorial at the bottom. If it goes to the right, change it's angle. Then you might need to change texture too.

You mean set the little black circle with the angle line to "down"? If so, already done it, doesnt fix a thing.

No, select the texture app. tool, hold down Ctrl and select all of the visible sides. Rotate the texture until it travels in the right direction. And trust me, you don't want to use Seventh's rain (Sorry Seventh!). It causes extreme lag. On VERC (http://collective.valve-erc.com) there is a tutorial on making rain/snow with env_beams and a custom sprite.

you can also use an env_weather entity or something like that... assuming you are using the expert fgd.... thats a lot easier to use and looks a lot more natural than using a scrolling texture...

There wasn't falling snow in it. Not before weather effects came in with 1.6.

I loved de_survivor, one of my favorite maps. But I usually like playing is office, cs_city_assault(awesome map, get it), and awp_rooftops(the best map ever. Rare but if you find a server with it, GO THERE!)

cs_cityassault_final - the map pwns

everyone should have it... that is by far THE BEST remake of assault i have ever seen... and dare i say.... the sides are almost fair now.... lol...
