I don't understand why people change avatars so frequently. The whole point is to have it connected to the member's identity so people can easily figure out who's posting what.

I agree entirely, satcheh. It's not just a space for pimping images at random; it should be recognisable. The colours in yours are so nice that I always know it's you without having to, well, even look at the picture. Now that's distinctive.

I agree. An avatar is your identity, but I see no shame changing it temporarily for the holiday season, or adding a little ad for you latest map/mod. I have had the same one always.. I made it in paint just so I could have an avatar and it just stuck with me.

i've only changed my avatar twice. I probably have the longest runnning av besides atom.7th, Andy, and Anthony probably have you beat. They've only changed their's once and they've been here since the beginning.

I once changed my AV to the Team Banko logo, for like 3 minutes, then people started to say that they wan?t the midget... So i changed it back....

I've upped the big avatar size to 150x150 now. Somebody want to check that it's worked?I think new members should be limited to 100x100 and senior members can have larger avs.
As for me Ive kept this av for a while and really dont plan on changing it. I just got too used to it.
