Im going to buy DDR2, which is RAM memory. I dont know much about that kind of computer stuff so I thought some1 here could help me. My computer is about 3 years old so I need to check if it can accept DDR2. I think I have to check the modecard (Or if its mothercard in english)

I very much doubt your motherboard supports DDR2, and I don't believe it's much cop at the moment (colloquialism: means 'not very good'). Low-latency DDR1 > faster-clocked DDR2. For gaming, at least. Google!

Yeah, m0p says DDR2 sucks thus far. AMD are building new cores for their 64-bit CPUs which support DDR2, so they might do a better job than Intel have.

The next generation of AMD CPU's will have support for DDR2, and hopefully be backwards compatible with DDR1 too.

DDR2 sure as hell won't be compatible with your motherboard and it sucks anyway because nothing is compatible with it at the moment.

Google for your motherboard and see.
