I think this is my fifth thread related with Battlefield 2.
I can't say more than the topic says.
When I join a server, and it finnished loading the map, it simply quits the game and returns into windows.
While the normal BF2 works.

Anyone else got this problem?
How do I fix it?

Thanks (again)

Restart, rejoin, restart, and rejoin. You'd might want to try this a couple of times.

Had this problem to, solved it.

Also try loading it in singleplayer. Also helps a lot. And remember, BF2 is the worst coded game in history, so im not that surprised to see that you have quite a lot of trouble with it.

Thanks,, I guess. lol
Well, it claims that I've modified my content, maybe some file is missing.
Maybe I should try re-instaling too?

BF2 is a very good game...if you can get it to work.
It just has so many problems, I am not sure if it is worth buying really.

I have it, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else, since there is a very high chance you can't get it to work...for...no reason at all...it just won't work basicall, a lot of the time.

It is buggy beyond belief, and hard to believe it is doing aswell as it is.

I would recommend it even if it might not work, be cause if it doesn't, you could simply return it to the store.

It is an incredibly... avant-garde game. I don't think anyone else can claim to have developed such an immensely complex FPS. It's fantastic when it works.

If your driver is updated, and your computer is decent (1gig ram 2.93 ghz or higher cpu, Graphics card 256 DDR) and your drivers are updated then it works great! :)

I love how i could play the demo for about 2 months, then about 2 weeks before i was gonna get the game for Christmas, it stops working with a BSOD.

Is there no way I can rapair game files?
All other games I have got this little repair thingy, but I can't find it for SF.

Haha.

But then I would have to uninstal it again, and also update it, again.

I never Judge by memory. I simply did not want to waste time thinking of an adaquite number for the core clock, bit, etc. BTW memory plays a HUGE role! Since the card has fast access (PCIx or AGp) texture memory, map info, etc can be loaded fast, and cause smoother play since everything needed to render is saved in the memory. Buying a high memory card with bad specs is not a good idea, but finding the healthy medium between the two is the right way.

Memory plays a big part in performance. I have the same card as a friend, the only difference being that his is 256mb and mine's 128. HL2 maps load in half the time for him.
