I'm gonna keep adding stuff to it little by little to see what my system can handle. But I GOT the SDK running as well. I figure if I dont have the Hammer Editor open while i run a map, it'll free up SOME memory.

Okay maybe I shouldn't celebrate JUST YET, but right now, I have a small 6 brush, 2 entity map OPEN in HL2!!!

i never run hammer 4 and test my map at the same time, whenever i do, when i exit and go to fix mistakes, hammer crashes out anyway, so i close it before i run game. sometimes, if i dont want to playtest the map, just look at lighting etc, i open the map in nem's source BSP viewer instead

Rabid, actually I can't recall, but I left the osettings to default... when I turned them DOWN is when the game crashed.

Yeah I noticed I can't run any of the levels though. So I'm forced to stick with the most basic of stuff... (the terms VIS and RSPEEDS come to mind)
