can we enter multiple entries?
Posted 18 years ago2006-06-10 14:01:45 UTC Post #184572
But Rabid...Can't you map and skin yourself ;D
Working alone is the true form of mapping.
I'm learning but I wouldn't have time to make my props look good in time for an entry ;P - I find skinning to be more difficult than modelling and mapping ;( - Probably 'cause it's not 3D and I'm not very skilled at photoshop at all.

I've heard other people being really positive about it. It's still on my to-get list though.

nono, not in terms of holes, just in terms of having no lights in the entire map right now.

I really should get on that, I only have 8 days to make 3 maps for 3 different projects

My other entry will not make the deadline, even unfinished. The 12 days I spent in Belgium and the FIFA World Cup took my interest away from it :(. I have only submitted "Serene".

Well, I visited the Aachen Cathedral in Germany. Had I done so earlier, I might have made my map based on it. It's a unique building, unlike the all-too-similar gothic cathedrals around Europe.

Robot ran into some compiling troubles.. I had to have Jaardsi to compile it, but when I got the map back.. there where problems with the env_beams.
1. The beams where much skinnier.
2. The beams where blinking on and off.
So I tried fixing it with '-entsonly' but that caused a bunch of different errors.. I fail.

:

Sorry for the dissapointment.

Sent you a pm on snarkpiteh >
Edit: I'll put it here anyway.
Basically when I say mini-mod format I mean they aren't included in the bsp. so you have to manually paste it all into your folder. The easiest thing to do is to unrar/unzip it into your /Counter-Strike Source file and on top of your /cstrike file. It's basically set up like the cstrike folder, with maps, materials, models etc.
If the problem continues inform me about it..
