Opening an image for editing and re-uploading a modifed version is called "changing it" in my dictionary. I understand the the base image is the same, duh...

It does if you use your imagination! Just focus on the square I have highlighted in the hat and quickly look back at the avatar. Repeat this process a few times and it should work.

Ok, I agree this is quite monotnos. Few santa hats is ok but when nearly everybody changes to them it's too much. I can't think of anything else because I don't know anything else on christmas but what do you have to suggest.

Because most of the people here are christians or from christian countries. By that I mean europe, US...ect. Hardy anybody in here comes form other countries. And if somebody wants to change his avatar in his religion's holiday, so be it but not all of the site has to change because of one or two men.

i am not trying to be funny. Im 100% serious. I myself am in a human rights group. Admit it yourself, you havnt thought about them at all. I just want you to not forget about them, and perhaps do something, perchance donate or do something else to hepl the less fortunate.

The name of the holiday is CHRISTmas for crying out loud. Its the birthday of Jesus Christ. Muslims and Jews and other religions don't celebrate it because they aren't Christian, but its still recognized because Christianity is such a big religion.

We used to do Halloween avatars but we didn't last October and I don't think we did the year before, either. Not surprising. Nobody really cares about Halloween anymore.

About Christmas, and people who dont celebrate due to religious reasons:

Thats ok Christmas is for everyone. For Christians its the day Jesus Christ was born, for others, its just the christmas spirit, coming together of family, and being kind. Do those things have to be intermingled with religion? I dont think it does. If it gets people to be kind to one another, then there is no harm if someone else who does not believe in Christ celebrates it also.

I personally would like to see a snowing .GIF under the TWHL logo, and a santa hat on the "T" in "TWHL".

I can see the message your trying to send Arcan, but a internet website avatar is hardly to place to be promoting it. Comedy is usually assumed on any avatar that isnt self-explanitory. Its awsome you want to help them out, but maybe make a thread about it. Also, the picture's content was a little strong too for a internet avatar.

As far as I'm concerned, there shouldn't be a particular time to be good to your peers or religions getting together. It should be that way all year long, not just when the Christmas lights are on.

Well unfortunately, the world doesn't work that way 24/7 because it's full of dumbasses. The Christmas period at least gives the human race some hope of being normal for once.

Christmas is a time to be generous to those people you love, showing appreciation for everything they've done for you during the year.
