Just a slight problem with the Info Nodes.
I've had this happen quite a few times now, where I place a Node down in a map (a standard node, for monsters such as grunts) it will create strange sparkle things (similar to the yellow pixel things but red, orange and yellow) and there will be an invisible, impassible block where i placed it down. Along with this, the node will have no noticable effects on the AI like it should.

Has anybody else had and solved this problem before?
Cheers.

It sounds like maybe you placed it inside a wall, although in all my time mapping I, have never encountered this, or even heard of anyone encountering it.

That node is definately too close to/stuffed in a wall. Be sure to leave at least a 16-32 unit gap between each node and the floor, walls, etc.

Sometimes the node sparkles appear around a node that can't 'see' any other nodes. You must have 2 or more nodes in an area where nodes are placed. They have to have a direct line of sight between them.

If of course, you want a monster to have radioactive green haze circling around him, a great way to achieve this effect is to place the guy right in the wall.
