Okay so Christmas time is coming and I've been thinking of all the games I want. Because my computer sucks and it can't handle all the new DivX10 games coming out I'm wondering what I should get for the 360.
I already have The Orange Box, Halo 3, and well a bunch of crappy games. What do you all think I should get?
I've been thinking mostly about
Call of Duty: 4, BioShock, Guitar Hero III, and maybe Kane & Lynch? What games would you all prefer? And what do you want to get?

Kane & Lynch looks cool, i wanna check that out. i also wanna check out Bioshock.

I myself KNOW im getting a Rainbow 6 game, i think its Vegas... =]

I still haven't check out Halo 2, so i wanna check that and 3.

Hell I just thought of it. I can go ahead and just rent Kane & Lynch along with Bioshock. Since those are just Single Player games. Although I don't know how long it takes to beat them.
I heard they were making a Vegas 2, although I think it's gonna be a little while before that comes out.

Everyone who's into RPG's should take a look at Mass Effect. It's definitely one of the best games I've played so far.

Basically the same thing in my opinion saw, but it's not what I say, it's what the mods say.

kane and lynch got some bad rep over the gamespot thing, and it's only averaging 6-7, but i reckon i'll.......'get' it and see if its any good. bioshock is great, and cod4 has been labelled as 'the best call of duty ever' (i've played it, it is)
r6vegas2 has been announced, its not too far off, as ubisoft churns out its games fairly fast. r6vegas is pretty good too.
not into RPGs and don't have a 360, so i cant tell you about mass effect.

It'll be on Steam soon enough.
By the way, has anyone played Gears of War on PC? If it's a good port I was planning on picking that up.

it isn't a good port at all, unless you're using vista. G4W live totally fucks up on XP crashes everywhere, stuttering - general fail. don't buy it.

Dont buy Kane and Lynch whatever you do. If you like flight games buy Ace combat 6 and also assassins creed is a good enough game

I'm getting a 360 and r6vegas for christmas (I know for a fact, I seen a quick glance of a green dvd-game box that said rainbow 6 and some of the art i could see looked like vegas so...)

It's not, it just hasn't gotten unanimously positive reviews. It's probably just mediocre or average is all.

Kane and Lynch never looked all that good to me. PC Gamer (UK) gave it 60%. Apparently it looks dated and the gameplay is meh. I think I'll wait for the next Hitman game.

Otherwise, for XMas I want UT3 and Crysis and a PC that'll run them both.

Crysis is a good game, but it's short; I was able to beat it in only a day or two. Although each level is relatively non-linear and there's tons of crap to explore, it doesn't have much re-play value. I would wait for the price to drop for now.

One of my roommate's got Crysis [downloaded it, really]. I have to say, watching him play it kinda lowered my expectations, should I play it myself. The game really seemed to lack depth. It's all combat without reason.

PS: Daubster, caps lock is the cruise control for cool.
