greetings,

I've got a Counter-Strike: Source and a Half-Life: Source, I don't play any of them. If there's someone out there, who is not playing with the original Half-Life anymore, or someone who is disappointed with Team Fortress 2 and don't have one or any of the previous games and want them, then I can give one or both of these as gift in exchange. In short,
CSS for HL1
or CSS + HLS for TF2
or something else if you say so but these seem to be the most fair offers.

Comments of rubbish and strong language are not welcome.

I don't understand, how on earth would you go about "trading" these games through Steam?

like, you can give your game away, I read it in one of the steam news wasn't it like that? :

No, if you have duplicate games, for example people who bought the orange box when they already had HL2 & Ep1, you can send the spare copy to a friend with a steam account.

I don't think you can just do it with games you don't play.

Further, if you could, these are "gifts."
There is no actual need for a 2-way transaction, and thusly someone could easily say "i'll take them," get you to send it as a gift then bugger off. And you could do nothing because not only should you know this, but there's probably a bit of writing somewhere in the TaC which states that such trades using the gift system are illegal.

The only games you can transfer easily & legally are Half-Life 2 and Half-Life 2: Episode One. Anyone other games, you could exploit the key reset proccess, but you'd both have to have finished the games 90 days after buying, trust each other not to scam, and hope VALVe doesn't catch on and ban both accounts.

I thought they added the ability to gift any account any game before Christmas.

So maybe you can buy games for other people's accounts, but can you transfer your games? I don't think so.
