when ever i put my bsp file in sierrahalf-lifevalvemaps i cannot see it in the game does eny only have this same prob???

in what situation? Is it deathmatch or what?

There's a difference alright.

Singleplayer maps don't show up in the maplist under LAN or Internet play. To start up a singleplayer map (a single player map only required one info_player_start) simply open the console and enter "map mapname" (no quote, no bsp extention).

But if you're making a deathmatch map, then you don't need info_player_start entities but multiple info_player_deathmatch entities. Only then the map will appear in the map list under LAN or Internet play.

are you trying to add singleplayer monsters to a multiplayer map? i'm probably wrong but, i don't think you can do that. (also, if i am wrong, then it's because i don't make multiplayer maps)

In fact, you can have monsters in deathmatch, just be sure to enable mp_allowmonster (set to 1).

Yes, mp_allowmonster 1 allows any monster to appear in multi player, including barneys and scientists. However, just remember that you can't have level transitions in multiplayer for normal half-life. Getting level transitions to work in muiltiplayer requires coding.

BrainBread - which is a co-op game where you shoot loads of zombies

or

ZombiePanic - Which is a teamplay-based zombie shootem-up
