No. They are designed for Counter-Strike (Condition Zero).

1.1; Here we go!
  1. Flag captures now scores properly
  2. Fixed bug that happened when a player changed team while carrying the flag
  3. Added powerups
  4. Added killing spree, dominating and godlike announcements. (5, 10 and 15 kill streaks)
  5. Minor code tweaks.
  6. Bots can now be used in a dedicated server.
  7. Fixed bug with ctf announce
  8. New map: ctf_egypt
(It's a full release)

I don't know what powerups are included, but here are some I would like to see:
Temporary Double Jumping
Temporary Invisibility
+50 HP

For now there's Invisiblity, Double-Damage and Suicide Bomber. And there's also few negative effects you can get if you take a random powerup such as Mega-Slow and Half-Damage.

I've found a fairly serious bug, very evident in top-down but also platform maps: there's a problem with what's being rendered. Depending on where you stand, sometimes a brush or entity will become invisible because the engine thinks you can't see it.

Eg, if I'm standing behind a wall, I can see into the next room but the engine can't, hence rendering everything inside the next room invisible.
I'll post screenshots if needed.

That's not really a bug. It's in the FL manual actually. You'll have to turn all completely view-blocking walls to func_walls. Annoying, but it's the only way...

Doesn't look bad ZL, but it misses some 'flair' imho.

Flat-Life Suggestions and other stuff.
  • A zoom in/out function in top-down (perhaps side-view aswell) with the scroll-button would be nice.
  • The crowbar should be holden sideways, when attacking making a 180 spin, it just adds to the coolness and increases range of hit. :crowbar:

  • There is no flag bug as far as I know. Atleast, I don't see the fact that you can't cap the enemies flag when your own flag isn't in base as a bug. It's only a good thing.
It adds tension and makes capping the flag just a wee bit harder.
  • As for the power-ups: +50% speed, 10 seconds of godlike (Unkillable), suicide splash.
  • I haven't had the suicide bomb yet? Is it extremely rare? I tried many times.
  • Rename Freshed-bot to FresheDs Slave or Freshies Slave :P

1.3 is coming up, and I hope it will be the last version for quite some time as spring is coming up. Therefore it's important that it includes everything it needs.

This is stuff it already has:

# Added new game mode: mht_. Read more about it in the "Multiplayer" section. (Possible more)
# Trigger_set_model, trigger_set_physics, trigger_set_camera and trigger_keyboard now works in multiplayer
# trigger_keyboard can now be used to check for key releases instead of presses

Added some OP4 monsters: monster_pit_drone, monster_baby_gargantua, monster_shock_trooper.
Baby Gargantua was a Sven monster, never actually appeared in OP4.

Here's a small screenshot. Note the titled camera and how much better it looks ;)

One of the cooler features is the FLATL.U.S (Flat-Life User Stats - Swedish pun intended 0o). Basically it collects player stats during multiplayer games and adds them to a specified mysql database. After that player stats and toplists can easily be displayed on any website.

Also thought I should explain the new game mode:
mht_ stands for monsterhunt and can be set up in many different ways.
The base purpose is that there is one or a few very powerful monster(s) in the map that you have to kill. Upon death it will give some very powerful powerup for a short time or simply make you win the round depending on map setup.
Several monster spawns can be placed for variation each round.

So now, any more features requested? ;D
