I will be the first one to admit that I saw the new "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" twice already, I think it was good, not great in story line like the Dark Knight was, but it was still O.K.

Apparently there is this guy that really went out of his way to recreate Wolverine's famous claws like no other before him! Man, this is what I call a true Wolverine fan!

See the video of these real life Wolverine claws in action: http://dvice.com/archives/2009/05/homemade-wolver.php

Doesn't take much to stab through a cardboard box, especially when you're putting your body weight into the thrust.

I'd like to see how clean of a cut they can make.
Posted 15 years ago2009-05-08 04:14:30 UTC Post #266647
That's neat, but at the same time it's pretty funny to see a grown man jumping around his living room stabbing cardboard boxes.

It would be nice if it would cut through something that is not cardboard.

Anyone else notice that in the process of showing off his blades, he punched huge holes in his carpeting???

What a dumbass.

When he first did it, he slightly hesitated, like he said "oh shit..." in his head.

Guys ... this shit is crazy man. I know .. mapping could be a bit "nerdy". But this is just topnotch. How could you enjoy this kind of videos and even talk so serious about it. That guy is mental, just like people who believe in god

You think that's something? According to another forum thread I read about this guy, his next project will be duplicating Spiderman's web shooters using the same chemical/mechanical technology used in the Spiderman comic book. Of what I heard, this guy is wealthy, got money to burn and plenty of time in his hands, so anything is possible with him. With that said, I can't wait to see him try to do his own Iron Man armor! GO MARVEL!

Uhmm.....raver, that was not a good thing to say. You just offended a lot of people with that bigotry comment.

Okay then, have it your way. Don't say later that I did not warned you, you just opened a can of worms with this. Others here might also let you know too, let's see what happens. You never know, it might blow over quick.

There've been a hundred threads gone religion on this site. Do we REALLY need another one? They're shit boring, 'cause rarely do peoples opinions change other's. That's why it's referred to as "faith". Let's just drop it here.

Can they be used to slice bread? If they can I want some. You know how hard it is to cut two slices of bread evenly? Frustrating shit.

Its bad to eat bread right after it comes out the oven (bread making machine) because its still active. You need to rest it
Posted 15 years ago2009-05-08 19:25:26 UTC Post #266699
I have to admit, while I have it very rarely, homemade bread is the shit.

Put some butter on it while it's still warm and it's an orgasm in your mouth.

I once worked for about 1 year at a Panera Bread cafe when I lived in Pennsylvania a few years ago. At Panera Bread, they bake something like 17 different kinds of breads, my personal favorite being the French Baguette.

Here's their bakery menu page: http://www.panerabread.com/menu/bakery/breads.php

I love fresh baked bread with butter. Especially baguette.
Although it sucks how they can dry out very quickly.

Panera Bread is awesome.
You bet it was awesome! After a year of working there making fresh & hot panini sandwiches and hand tossed salads, I just had to quit. I was getting too fat on all that delicious, gourmet sandwiches made with all that scrumptious bread! Oh, and don't get me started on their freshly baked, mouth watering BAGELS!!! Oh man, I wish there was a Panera Bread where I live here in Puerto Rico, but the nearest one from me is in the state of Florida, right across the Caribbean sea.....SHIT!

wow, they are actually fucking cool. Pretty lethal, but they are probably a bit too big to conceal in any sort of clothing properly. This guy has some good craftsmanship nonetheless.

That's what I was thinking too. Now, I do admit this thread went off track from the original topic, but that's no reason to get one's undies in a bundle.

That guy is totally mental but those claws are still cool. If they were sharp they could really do some damage. gag reel of him stabbing himself in the with those things would win, or, if he tried to scratch his ear/balls while they were retracted might be epic..
