Fail. Not only is it a total rip-off, but it features shitty-looking anime-style toys, and it's 3rd person. Wtf?

I fucking hate these Korean game companies that make shitty download and play games with the fucking items that cost real life money. This is not an embarassment to the Korean game companies, all of their games are this shitty. This is an embarassment to TF2. I pray to god Valve sues the shit out of them.

I mean shit, one of them has a damn baseball bat. The demoman has a doo-rag on. The fucking heavy sounds are almost a direct rip from TF2.

So what you are saying is, all Korean games are shitty? =O

I think it's a cute game. Too bad it's a rip-off.

There's no spy. Clearly not a TF2 ripoff.

Yeah, I was waiting for the sniper to get stabbed or strangled or something.

If the environments are all big like that (miniature style), the gameplay is guaranteed to suck >_>

Wow... Valve will sue, that is major copyright infingement.

I dont think valve will have the grounds to sue them. Its similiar, but not directly like TF2. I dont think copyright infringement includes stylistic similiarities and game structure (classes).

What about stolen content?

What stolen content? It's not like they copied models, sounds, or textures out of TF2 and used them, they just might bear similarities. There's no stolen content here.

Im not on their side or anything, but gun sounds really dont have that much variety in terms of sounds from gun to gun depending on the size/type of gun. The heavy gun might sound similiar, but wouldn't you as a developer want a nice meaty sound to your chain gun? Real chain guns sound like redundant belches of noise, which wouldn't be an ideal sound in any toon styled game.

Jeff, if that were the case why doesn't id Software sue the developers of every FPS in history for stealing their idea? This game really isn't that big of a deal, and honestly it's not that big of a ripoff. TF2's cartoony style is more the property of Pixar than Valve as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah, I guess. Still, I don't think they have a right to charge for a TF2 ripoff like that. Time will tell if Valve thinks they should sue or not.

Unlikely:

I would have to agree with TheGrimReafer:
I dont think valve will have the grounds to sue them. Its similiar, but not directly like TF2.
Valve has the up-hill burden of trying to prove something was stolen from them with very little evidence, if at all any. And most likely they know that, so I doubt they will spend a small fortune in legal fees trying to bring this case to court, a court that for sure will be a Korean one, and which I can practically guarantee will rule against an American company like Valve. Us Americans are not too popular in Korea these days.

Also, It's not like this game is going to cut into Valve's profits. I don't think anybody cares enough to do anything about it.
Posted 15 years ago2009-07-04 21:13:35 UTC Post #269444
I agree with srry, although I believe if Valve wanted to sue them they could, and they would probably win their case, but its a shitty little game.

Even if someone did play it...they would be one of very few...servers would be few and far between if any good at all...there is no market for it. Maybe a few people will find it popular at small sized LANs but thats about it

It does look cool in a way, but you can get the same thing with a Rats map and some custom player models.

Yeah it's bad and the fucking sniper rifle should eject the shell when she reloads the breach. Not as soon as she shoots. They gotta fix that.

Certainly TF2 seems to have influenced this game quite a bit. :\

I think it looks shitty.

Why would anyone play this game when you can play TF2?

Think this game will be available through steam?

None of these Asian market games go on Steam. Look at all the Nexon games.
It's a free game, anyway.
