Dead Space 2. Not a terrible game, I guess.

I'll either go for Crysis Warhead
Don't! Save your money for Crysis 2. Warhead is short, no improvement over Crysis, and Crysis Wars is a complete ghost town. Unless you're REALLY craving that extra half-hit of the Crysis pipe I'd hold off.

Crysis 2 on the other hand improves HUGELY on the series. Doesn't even feel like the same game. If you thought Crysis was "not bad" like most people, you'll probably enjoy it a lot more.

Dead Money New Vegas DLC. It's creepy as fuck. Has some really neat equipment, though, and great voice acting.

Also, I'm using Steam's new in-built screenshot taking and hosting service. Seems good!

Yeah, DiRT 2 does look great, and it's really good fun for a while as well. It demands you feel awesome at all times.

It's just a shame it's so Americanised. The X-games stuff just isn't nearly as fun as the rally stuff, which is sadly very minimalistic.
Colin McRae would not approve.

I agree about the Americanisation. It gets a bit grating.

Still, sweet game.

And now I have to recapture Hammerfest.
This is probably the most annoying mission ever. Why kind of asshole thought it would be fun to give you 3 missile-firing vehicles and then pit you against a bunch of rocket infantry? You can't even squash them because you're using hovercraft.

Haha all I read on the front page was "And now I have to recapture Hammerfest." And I thought OH GOD IM SO SORRY.

Seriously. I've beaten that mission about 10 times throughout my entire life, but every time I do it, I frustrate myself for 2 hours before coming up with some convoluted tactic that manages to win the mission for me. I just fucking wing it.
Posted 13 years ago2011-03-04 14:03:04 UTC Post #291098
Hammerfest
Oh yeah, i remember that mission. The first part of the mission is annoying because you have to manoeuvre through icy glaciers in an attempt to find the base, which is at the top left of the map.
You'll encounter an Obelisk of Light on your way there, so make sure you find and destroy the powerplants first to kill the powersupply. You'll have to destory the side of the glacier to get to the powerplants. Their hard to find so use the cursor to identify them.

Once you've located the base, capture everything you can and build up a massive force of Titan's and Wolverines to attack the Nod base located to the south of your base.

Tiberian Sun works on XP. On 7 im not sure. I know Red Alert 2 works on 7, so there's a fair chance that Tiberian Sun works on 7 as well since both games run on the same engine.

Is the problem that you're disconnected seconds after joining a server? Try deleting %SystemRoot%SysWOW64PnkBstrB.exe and run Battlefield 2142 as administrator. That should cause the game to automatically update Punkbuster.

What support am I supposed to give you Striker?

I just said in plain english that all I do is install and play normally, no further actions done.
I can't come up with magical theories as to why it's not working for you and how to fix it, because all I do is install it like any normal game and it works like any normal game, If I had to do anything to get it to work, then support would be possible.

If by edit block you mean when I posted 1234 instructions, then you are extremely slow and deserve to be edit blocked.

Unfortunately due to my terrible laptop screen, which has a native of 1024x768, I cannot play properly as it's running 1080p virtual desktop mode, which is always fun to try and play a game in.
Some 720p proper shots soon when I can use my external.

Also, It might be a good idea to remove the crysis screenshots, they're just causing clutter and more loading as screenshots were picked at random.

Oh shit.

Now crollo, I tend to imagine what a person does before posting something. And I imagining you, sitting in front of your computer for 30 minutes searching for that image to post it here. Amirite?

[EDIT] You know something, this can actually be fun. If people don't mind and I will remember this, I will actually try to post in my every forum post what I'm thinking the other person was doing while posting.
Note: The time I'm posting this may influence my thinking.
