Hi there,

does anyone know how to insert a sort of counter in an HL SP mod???
I wanted to include an counter on fragged monsters in my mod, and I just dont know how to do it...
You know some kind of getting cash for killing enemys, or sort of

Try the VERC. There's only one C++ I know of here and I haven't seen him dabbling in HL coding.

There're sorta... guides on the VERC. Some full tutorials too. Google for Half-Life coding.

are you wanting a visible on screen counter or somthing that will just trigger an event after X amount of monthers are killed.

well it could be done with a clever set up or entities, and clever use of on screen txt like with credits and things, i've done somthing before like this but with an alert limit so it displayed it on screen every time you got seen by a camera and told you how many chances you had left. ill see if i still have the maps for you if your interested in having a look at that.

Are you refering to a site that has sounds to download? The only one I've ever used or needed was http://www.findsounds.com/

You can find every type of sound you need. :)
