Iknow this is quite a stupid question, but do any of you people have a
list of filters??????

Err, filters?
Independent on what you're talking about there, I suggest you to read this.

He means textures to enter in teh filter field in the texture browser.

crete- concrete
tnnl- darker concrete, On A Rail themed textures
glu- trims, mainly lab
c1a0, c3a1, etc.- level themed textures, signs
sign- signs
silo- metal, grungy silo walls and details
generic- useful texture set with trims, signs, vending machines, you name it!
out- outside walls, sand, rock, pavement
trk- truck textures
trd/stp- stair trims
fifties- bricks, linoleum, etc
lab- lab textures, floors, detailing
+a- animated textures
~- tex lighting
0, -1, etc tiling textures
{- decal and transparent textures
xeno- xen textures
!- water, liquid

Is this what you want?

QUARK sorts textures pretty well ....

Trim - Trims.
c2a4 - bluie lab things
light - lights!
comp - Computers and t3h shit
gear - round "machine" things
rail - rail things
bar - bar things
flr - floors
wall - walls
out - various outsides
dirt - dirt

lght and light give different lights.

lght gets you the fifties lighting fixtures, light gets...everything else! Lgt, Lght and Light. All work.

additions:

grnd- ground
rck- rock (mehtinks)

Note that if you put a space between characters, they act as if they had asterisk wildcards between, i.e.:

Enter "lght" and you will only get textures with that exact 'word' in.
Enter "l ght" and you will get anything with "lght", "light", "lxfght", "l00000000000000000000000ght", whatever.
